Worked in my trail cam without difficulty…
I got a trail cam about a year ago to try to capture some of the wildlife that frequent my yard that backs up to a woody area behind my house. Iâm not a tech guy, so I hate to admit it but itâs not hard for me to get confused with electronics that have a lot of buttons and a lot of screens to scroll through to set things up. So with this, luckily I was able to turn it on, enter my pin, insert the sd card in the slot, close the camera, set it down, and then forget about it. I set it in my living room just to test things out and then I really did forget about it until a few days ago. I just took the card out and plugged it into my Mac and found that I had over 3000 pictures captured. I posted a couple of pics, one in color with Iâm guessing adequate lighting and the other in a lower light situation that shows in black and white. The picture quality is not the best but Iâm sure that has more to do with the camera than the card. When I put this in the yard I expect most of the activity will come at night but if they are at least as clear as they turned out on this card I should be able to identify anything it pics up so I will be happy with that. And I was very happy that I didnât have to download, program, or reconfigure anything to make these work in both my devices. I also have a card reader for my phone and was able to plug in the card and view pics on that device easily as well. Iâm not a spec guy either, but I looked online at the price of 32g sd cards with similar or better specs for a much better price. Iâm not sure if there is an advantage to this one over other ones but itâs just something to consider if you are in the market for this kind of sd card. Otherwise, it does what I want with little difficulty and from that point of view, I recommend it.
