Regardless of its pricetag this is an excellent mixer. All channels work fine and sound crystal clear. Iâve owned mixers in the past made by Tascam, Yamaha, Alesis, and Allen & Heath, and this mixer measures up to them nicely. I can find no issues with it, so if youâre a multi-instrumentalist looking for a basic set of dedicated channels you canât go wrong with this mixer.Edit: Iâm noticing that the negative reviews for this item either are for a different item, or from inexperienced users. Using a mixer requires the purchase of XLR and 1/4â cables in quantity. You should expect this – a mixer isnât magical, itâs one component in a chain of components. A cow doesnât make ham – you should know this. If you never recorded anything before, watch some youtube videos before buying a mixer. If you need a DJ mixer, buy a DJ mixer. If youâre doing karaoke, buy a karaoke machine. This mixer is for recording audio straight to tape or into a computer audio recording interface like Pro Tools and Ableton. This mixer has a very basic USB input for âkaraoke,â but itâs tacked on as a novelty. If youâre a musician with recording experience, this is a good affordable mixer worth considering. If youâre a soccer mom throwing your first karaoke party, donât buy this then complain about it 🙂

Perfect mixer for a big drum kit
Got yourself a drumkit that’s got a few too many pieces for most mixers to be configured properly? Need 12 INDIVIDUAL channels instead of those mixers with combined L/R channels for 7/8 9/10 11/12? Need every single channel to have its own XLR connection? Don’t have eight hundred dollars? Look no further.While I don’t use much of the digital features (effects, bluetooth) as a traditional analog mixer, this thing is awesome considering it’s very affordable. Rivaling the price of 4-channel high-end mixers, you’ll be surprised with what this unit can achieve. You’re not getting big studio sound, but it’s very decent and the resulting sound will suit most homebrew studios.It’s been doing quite a good job of my 8 (soon to be 9) piece + cymbals and hat kit!

Good Deal
I use this for my home studio, stereo drums, two mics, Bluetooth backing tracks from my computer and sometimes guitar in using the effects loop.I bought this to avoid running a line in from my computer. The worst thing I have to say is that the range of the Bluetooth sucks. One foot shorter and this would have gone back. Fortunately for me it didn’t come to that.Everything works as it should. I’d like a little more volume on the effects loop and maybe a bigger lcd screen, but for the price it is fine.I don’t travel with it, so I’m not so concerned with the road worthy aspect, but the build seems fine and the controls are sturdy and smooth.Definitely a buy for the money and fills my need perfectly.

Doesnât work after just 10 months of purchase
Only one of the main outputs out of the left/right ones work in just 10 months of owning it. Itâs very disappointing and a waste of money. Iâve tried process of elimination with different cables, speakers, etc etc and it boils down to this mixer. Unfortunately I wasted my money.

Sound is So-So – Build Quality is Great
This board is a great board for learning how things work. I would go with a better brand before recording and production starts. This will get you âalmostâ there. I feel that the features and build quality are there, but the sound quality lacks a bit. Hence the 3 stars. If this wasnât specifically made for âsoundâ than maybe I would have given more.CONs- board sounded âtinnyâ. A lot of high, but no way to get it to blend with the mids and lows the way I wanted. I was using phantom power for my condenser mics. Worked good, except for the âtinâ. Could have be just mine, as I did return it. But I was not ready to buy another EQ. My theory is SO-SO preamps..so I recommend buying an separate pre-amp (good quality) to offset the board quality. Wasnât something I wanted to do.PROs- built well. Tough design! Lots of cool features. Easy to learn on and use.

I just installed a DT8 in our facility lounge and everything seems to work as expected except that the vocals are being stripped from audio sources (Logitech bluetooth adapter and tv output). It seems to be acting like it is in karaoke mode? I need the mixer to pass the full stereo signal to output.Changed rating after discovering i needed Mono jacks for the line inputs.

Por el precio la consola es una maravilla, cierto que su único Fx no es lo mejor, tiene lo necesario para un grupo pequeño, la he usado 1 vez por 4 horas, se calienta, nada fuera de lo común, en resúmen, si vas empezando con tu banda o quieres solo utilizarla para grabarte o ensayar, es perfecta.

Pour le prix c’est une console qui fonctionne très bien, sauf qu’il manque de basse je suis obliger de mettre les basses au maximum, il faut brancher un EQ sur la console, mais comme je la controle avec une autre console de bonne qualité, je peu lui rajouté des basses elle me sert d’entrées supplémentaires au besoin

i dont understand the instruction, all in chineese, tried watching some tutorials but nothing showing how to change language setting, I cant make it to connect with a device, only one channel work, so dissapointing, I wish I could return it for a full refund,
