Perfect for docking stations
I had to work from home the past several years and had to set up a home office. I got a docking station and wanted to set up dual monitors, but my dock only has 1 HDMI out, but has 2 additional display port output. This cable worked perfectly in the display port output along with the HDMI out. I now have 2 monitors connected to my docking station and along with my laptop screen, I have 3 screens!!!The cable itself is well made. The connectors are solid and the cable has a braided cover, which I really like. I originally was not crazy about the teal color on the connectors, but they are all in the back, so I don’t see it. The cable performed flawlessly.

Quality cable you can depend on
This 3 foot long monitor cable makes no compromises in quality, and has a thick rugged vinyl surface, with a bit of texture and rigidity that make it a little sturdier feeling in your hand. It fits nicely into the “DisplayPort” port on my HP USB-C Dock G5 docking station (which I got on sale for under $150 – right here on Amazon) and the HDMI end goes into an HDMI splitter. From there the signal path goes to a 5 year old Vizio television set, which works fine as a computer monitor.Maybe it is my imagination, but the old TV/monitor seems snappier now, and my cable “maze” is definitely cleaned up by a good measure.With such excellent results, I wanted to post this review right away, this is an HDMI to DisplayPort 3 foot cable that “checks all the boxes,” as they say. Five stars awarded for (in my case) good packaging, fast delivery and a sure fire product that delivers the performance I need.

Solid Cable for 4K@60Hz (So Far!)
I needed a DisplayPort to HDMI cable to connect my PC (which only has DisplayPort outputs) to my KVM switch (which is HDMI only). This 3-foot cable did the trick perfectly. I’m currently running at 4K resolution at 60Hz, and it’s working flawlessly. The picture quality is excellent, and I haven’t experienced any signal drops or flickering.I can’t personally test the 8K capabilities as my setup doesn’t support it, but for my 4K@60Hz needs, this cable is a winner. It seems very well-made, with a braided design that feels durable. It definitely gives the impression of a high-quality product.If you need a reliable DisplayPort to HDMI cable for 4K (and potentially 8K) resolutions, I definitely recommend giving this one a try. It’s a great value for the price.

Decent Enough!
These work great for converting DP to HDMI. Keep in mind these are unidirectional. Which worked for me. I love that these are 8K capable, good future proofing. I was not able to test 8k though, as I have no hardware/content that can push that. Other than that, these seem to work pretty well! They are exactly as advertised. Length I received was correct too. The nylon-type braiding may fray over time if you move it around a lot, but I wanted to keep it in one place for a long time so, it works for that. So far so good.

Good cable to convert display port to HDMI
I got this after finding that my laptop dock has a display port on it instead of all HDMI. My monitor only has HDMI ports on it. This seemed like the best option. I plugged it in and turned on my laptop. To my surprise, the monitor that the cable is plugged in to had a static screen. That white snow that you used to see while using antenna TVs or when a cable channel was out. I had no clue why it was like that so I started changing the HDMI port on my monitor thinking I plugged it into the second one instead of the first. That didn’t work. I went back to the original HDMI port selection on the monitor menu and it had static again. I was just about to unplug it and try a different solution when the picture came on. It was like maybe the cable had to warm up. It could also be my docking station/port replicator. Regardless, any subsequent disconnect/connect of my laptop to the port replicator worked just fine. So I am chalking it up to some strange one off that I haven’t seen again since. I would get this again.

Use those extra DisplayPort connections to run additional HDMI Monitors/TVs
Almost all computers these days come with 1 HDMI port and 3 DisplayPorts. If you are wanting to hook up additional HDMI monitors or TVS this cord is the solution. Just plug it into the DisplayPort out on your PC, then into the HDMI in on your TV/Monitor and that’s it, you’re ready to go. My set up is 4K and it sends perfect 4K signal to my TV with no lag or signal loss. It says it will also work for 8K, but I do not have an 8K monitor or TV to test that out on, so can not speak to that, but I am sure that it will.Oh, and this cable has the nice, braided cover not the cheap plastic cover, so it will last longer, dissipate heat better, and let’s just admit it, it just plane looks nicer. LOL

Braided, Well-Made
We just got a new computer and are running two monitors off it. It’s hard to say much about this review-wise other than: (1) it works (2) the cord is covered with a braided cover (according to the Internet, braided covers are better than other covers, they are more durable, more flexible, and offer better heat dissipation) (3) the connection point between the cord & the plug (at both ends) seems well reinforced and (finally) (4) the plugs fit well into both my PC and my monitor.If I have problems in the future with it, I’ll post here, but, for now, I like and recommend it.

Does what I need it to, which is DP to HDMI
This cable is unidirectional, i.e. it connects the computer DP port to a monitor HDMI, but not the other way around. My new tiny computer had two video outputs, one was HDMI and the other was DP. Both my monitors only had HDMI inputs, fortunately I found this one, ordered it, and it worked flawlessly right out of the package.I can’t attest to the 8K UHD claim because I don’t use that level of throughput, but for my 1920×1080 monitor it works just great. The 3-ft version is just long enough to comfortably reach the monitor right next to my computer.
