1. DJI Avata is compatible with DJI Goggles 2, DJI Goggles Integra, DJI FPV Goggles V2, DJI FPV Remote Controller 2, DJI Motion Controller 2, and DJI Motion Controller.
2. The 155° FOV is only available when the aspect ratio is 4:3, and the video recording specification is 2.7K@50/60fps or 1080p@50fps/60fps; the aspect ratio is 16:9, and the video recording specification is 4K@50/60fps, 2.7K@50/60fps, or 1080p@50/60fps.
3. HorizonSteady is only available in Normal mode FOV with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and the video recording specification of 4K@50/60fps, 2.7K@50/60fps, or 1080p@50/60fps. RockSteady is unavailable when the video recording specification is 2.7K@100/120fps or 1080p@100/120fps.
4. DJI Avata only supports downward obstacle sensing when used with DJI FPV Remote Controller 2 or DJI Motion Controller in N Mode or S Mode.

Received somebody’s old Avata.
Apparently somebody decided to buy a new one and return the old on in its box and get their money back. The Avata I received wasn’t wrapped, the safety seal was broken and it showed signs of being flown into things and the entire thing was dusty like it had been sitting on a shelf. All of the packaging on the charger and replacement props were ripped open and the USB cord was missing entirely. Not sure how this got through the return department and sent back out as a new item. When I went to send it back for a replacement the only option it gave me was a full refund. I talked to a customer service representative through the chat and they told me they’d sent out my replacement and sent me the return shipping label to my e-mail. After waiting an hour and still not receiving the e-mail or seeing the replacement order in my orders I contacted support again to discover the first agent never actually put in for my replacement. Luckily the second agent was much more helpful. They had to get it approved by their supervisor but was able to process my replacement and I received a new wrapped Avata the next day.The drone itself is awesome. I bought some bumper guards to go over the plastic and an aluminum gimbal protector to go on the front. I’ve been flying it around the house zipping around corners. Already hit a few things and crashed a few times but the drone hasn’t taken any damage with the add-ons I put on it. Great indoor drone. Much more fun to fly indoors than my DJI FPV. You can be more bold with it knowing that the propellers won’t end up hitting the walls and send the drone crashing. If you bump something hard enough it will still probably crash though. This will my go-to drone for indoor filming and filming in wooded areas with lots of trees.

Super intuitive controls, extremely fun.
Though you canât go 60 with the motion controller, it is significantly more intuitive (like a Wii remote) to fly with, and you can still go very fast, fast enough to learn to fly with before getting a controller in the future. Everything works very smoothly, the drone itself is durable and battery life is very good for an fpv drone, though I would recommend getting a couple extra for that extended use. It takes beautiful cinematic video that is so much more âpersonalizedâ because it really feels like youâre there, taking the video/photo yourself

FPV rocks, here are pros/cons to Avata
DJI Avata, Goggles 2, RC Motion 2Cons:- Distance is limited to about 1.5-2 miles line of sight, much less if there are houses or hills between view.- Supposed to be able to fly without cell phone but I haven’t figured that out, when I disconnect or don’t connect the drone loses connection.- Battery can fall out with collisionPros:- RC Motion 2 is super easy to fly with, I’ve seen the negative comments, if you’re drone racing it may not give you quite the control needed, but for recreational flying it is fun and easy. Caveat, I haven’t tried in Manual Mode yet, that may increase functionality to be on par with regular controller- Goggles 2 are very comfortable, outstanding granularity on view, small enough that you quickly don’t notice, eyes are very adjustable both in pupil distance and focus. They also come with inserts for prescription if needed- Flight time is good, I get about 15 min per battery in Sport Mode and rarely hovering- Speed is maxed at about 30mph, not sure if that is setting, I’m still learning to customize

UNUSABLE. DO NOT BUY THIS.
You don’t know until you buy this that your FAA ID has to be verified prior to EACH liftoff. This means that you have to have your phone connected to the goggles, WITH A NETWORK CONNECTION, before you can fly the drone. If you’re in your front yard, now you need your phone WIRED to the goggles to fly. BTW, this also drains the goggles’ battery, because it’s charging your phone now.If you’re in nature, without a network connection, you’re hosed. No fly. None. No drone flight. Period. If you can’t wire your phone to the goggles AND get a network connection to your phone (you know, like everywhere worth photographing) then you’re not allowed to take off.This is NOT acceptable. I’ll be returning mine, which is too bad, because it’s a nice unit that flies well.

Best drone I’ve ever owned!
Takes great cinematic videos in 4k. So it’s a great tool for videographers. With the motion controller, it’s very easy for beginners to learn to fly. It is going to be harder for people that use Android devices to connect to their drone. DJI fly app isn’t available. I was lucky enough that my brother let me borrow his phone to set up my drone. But at any rate, it is just a blast to fly around. The battery lasts about 15 to 20 minutes. Depending on which mode you fly in. It’s roughly 6.5″ wide by 6″ long, so relatively compact. Over all I’d say it was money well spent.

Easy to learn
This Explorer Combo with the Integra googles do not need an internet connection to fly only GPS. Very easy to learn. Bit louder than expected but all drones are. Signal holds up well even in heavy redwood and mountains. Set up a bit confusing but-Turn on with short press then 3 second hold-Pair the units following the headset display instructions-Plug in your headset to your phone with the DJI app and it will have updates for your stuff. TURN ON AND CONNECT ALL DEVICES TO UPDATE THEM ALL BEFORE UPDATINGBattery charges in 1 hour with 50watt adaptor and discharges in 18minutes as advertised.

FPV is the way to go
I like this so much better than my other drones from the same company. The only downside is it does get pushed around by the wind a little and it does need a better antenna system on both fans to really fly beyond your line site.I got mine at a crazy deal I think because the last person couldnât figure out how to fly. In order to fly it, you have to tether it to your phone. Otherwise it will not takeoff and that has to do with the drone laws here in America.

Great little starter drone package. Easy and fun to fly. Bought extra battery packs, each one lasts around 15 mins.Make sure you learn about local laws and aviation rules, take the course and get your license. Transport Canada fines start at $10,000 for flying over crowds, too close to helicopter landing pads, and much more.

Extremely happy with this drone and have been using it whenever the weather allowed it. The quality is good and it endured a handful of crashes so has me impressed. Extremely easy to use and get hang of and plenty of tutorials to watch. Functional and good value. Will definitely be using this drone for plenty of more flights

Lo tengo desde marzo y contento con el pero un poco mal sabor de boca por qué los señores de dji sacaron al muy poco tiempo el avata 2 con mas calidad de imagen y mejores gafas pero claro no va ser todo en contra por qué el avata 2 a diferencia del avata , no se puede desmontar y por tanto cualquier golpe supone mandarlo a dji para reparar. Asà que para empezar el avata es muy buen drone y con las aplicaciones en internet para retocar vÃdeos e imágenes se pueden sacar buenas tomas para mi muy buen drone
