This is a great drone to have!! I was a little questionable about ordering it on Amazon, but it is like it just came from DJI!! It is worth the money! Great sensing, great video and picture quality, easy to fly, great flight intelligent modes, and more!! Amazing thing to have not only for fun but interest!! I hope you buy it! You will enjoy every second of flying!!

It’s like a cheat code
I don’t know what I can say about this thing that others haven’t already. It’s so fun and easy to use and it makes taking great pictures and videos so easy with all the preset smart flying modes. The video is one of me playing around with a few of the modes one morning when my kid was cleaning the beach as part of a school project.One thing I’ll say is that you should make sure to do your homework before buying it. A few tips:-As others have said, get some filters if you want to get the best picture possible. You don’t have to buy crazy expensive ones though.I bought these https://www.amazon.com/Filters-Mavic-Pro-Accessories-Upgraded/dp/B07GTJ1B7J/, and aside from having a really hard time getting the F4 one off every time I use it, I’ve been very pleased.-Watch a bunch of videos. I picked up a lot of tips watching YouTube videos waiting for my Mavic 2 to arrive. You’ll pick up a lot of things to do and not to do.-Don’t think you’ll get it and start flying right away. There’s a lot that goes into getting it ready to fly, including registering it with the FAA. And if you live near an airport like I do, there’s even more that you have to do every time you want to take it up around your neighborhood.But yeah, I love this thing.

The controller -It **is** smart, well built, impressive. Very nice. Makes to smart phone controller grafts seem primitive and clumsy. This dedicated solution is the way to go.The aircraft -There are hundreds of videos and reviews as testimonial to this little beast’s great features and capabilities, and they are for the most part right on.As expensive as it is, it’s worth it. At least it is to me. Well made, 4 out of 5 on the software, and great for new pilots. Don’t be afraid of the sophistication if you are new to drones, this is a perfect first drone for new pilots **provided** that they are willing to take a deliberate approach to read the documentation and in general educate themselves about it all before flying.So why 3 stars? Fortunately I had ordered 2 more batteries separately which arrived same day as my drone+controller. Because the single drone battery included was totally dead on arrival. Will not charge, no lights, no warmth on the charger, nada. May as well plug the charger to a block of wood. The two “extra” batteries however charged as expected.Obviously there are quality assurance practices in place for the A/C and controller to ensure a good product out of the box. Too bad that there is (apparently) zero factory confirmation of functionality for the “smart” battery for the drone. Now I get to go through the hassle to claim a defective battery and get a replacement. Life’s too short.

I bought this on a special and got the drone and the smart control for a great deal. This is in my opinion the most user friendly drone on the market today and the image quality from the camera can’t be beat. I love this thing. I recommend adding the fly more kit to your purchase otherwise flight time is limited.

I sold my Mavic Pro Platinum and recently upgraded to the Mavic Pro 2 with Smart Controller. The video quality is outstanding and the smart controller is so much easier than using your smartphone (having to connect, position, worry about battery life, incoming calls etc). Highly recommended and great value!

Warranty is a joke!!!!!!
I purchased a Mavic Pro 2 in late 2019, and It is good when it’s working.With less than an hour or two of flying over fewer than two years, it was starting acting up. It kept telling me there was a new firmware update. However, each time I tried, it wouldn’t update but kept asking to do it. So I just flew it without updating. Any the bottom line is I sent it in for repair, and they informed me it was out of warranty and it needed a new motherboard, which cost around $300.00. So I emailed them to send it back, and I would scrap it and never buy another DJI drone. Try finding the terms of the warranty on their website, I couldn’t.

I saw a couple of Youtube videos and then started flying it immediately. It is so well programmed, it is almost idiot proof. On the first day I was flying over complex terrain a couple miles from takeoff. I am only using a fraction of its capabilities, so I am having a blast with more to come.

This drone is absolutely by far the best I have ever operated. The camera is like no other. The quality of the photos and the video is amazing. So many different setting to utilize. Only problem I had is the battery was faulty and caused a disconnection and the aircraft couldnt recover. There was a major deviation in cell 4 which shut the drone down. It free fell from 60 meters / 180 feet. The drone and camera were destroyed. It had only had it for 3 weeks. Only had 100 flights. Luckily I purchased from amazon so it was covered under there 1 month no hassle warranty. I’m sure the replacement will last forever. There build to last.

What is there not to like with the Mavic 2 pro and the smart controller. Probably the best kit of its kind in the drone industry. The Pro 2 is an incredible and versatile drone. It takes a bit of time to understand all of the functions, settings etc. Take it one function at a time and you will be amazed at what this drone can do. Pair the drone with the smart controller and you will be up and flying in no time. Great and very bright screen, easy setup and you don’t have to screw around connecting with a cellular phone..A really tough combo to beat..buy them and you will like it.

Fantastic drone! Amazing video / pics but is complicated to learn what works and under what conditions.. Easily the best / easiest drone to fly and get quality footage / images.. I highly recommend quality filters for the camera – by far the easiest way to achieve best captures… Awesome features to make clips look great! GPS lacks user friendliness – but if you know what youâre doing, is incredibly accurate.. Wish I could import maps or choose mapping service – but the log of the flights are accurate.

It is awesome, it was my first experience with a drone and was excellent, just letting you a case that happens with me. I live in Canada (Winnipeg) one of the coldest places on earth. and I had flow it November under -20 and it works pretty well during 22 minutes *single battery) IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED but it works WELL
