Under $80 Juggernaut (3 speaker battle)
was having a hard time choosing between this, and Oontz angle 3 Pro, and a Doss Soundbox Pro. Im looking for something primarily for the house to be used in a bedroom/office. EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS A WINNER and I wouldnt hesitate to choose any of the 3. Sound quality was very very….VERY comparable with each one and pretty much a wash (explained below). I dont like letting my batteries drain so I cant vouch for battery life on each one, but im not worried. Below is why I would choose each model, hopefully it helps you. Also if it matters, I listened to Radiohead-The National Anthem and Skrillex-Rumble to test the speakers.–Why I chose the Doss Soundbox Pro: I hate to admit it but the price….and I actually chose this one over the Tribit and Oontz after my sound tests. The sound was on par with the other 2 (similar wattage to the Oontz) and I liked this one just a hair more than the Oontz because it was a little crisper sounding where the Oontz was a little fuller…if that makes sense. So with the sound being the same, the fact that I could ALSO pair multiple Doss speakers for a multi speaker set up just like the Oontz (this is a great feature for when entertaining guests/having a small party/get-together), and considering I’d primarily be using this in a bedroom (where the powerbank wouldnt come in as handy like the Oontz has)…..I had to choose this one. I didnt realize it was the cheapest until I had finished testing all 3 and went back to the invoice. This is the best bang for your buck speaker of the 3 and im big on value….but dont mind spending either if the value is there.–Why I would choose this speaker (Tribit Stormbox Micro 2):This one is the most travel friendly. Its the smallest and has a strap across the backside of it so you can easily attach it to a backpack, bike, UTV/ATV or any type of bar….the straps so tight to the body of the speaker that you can even put it on something as small as a car antenna and itd hold securely. Since the strap is snug to the body it stays secured. They dont list the wattage and this had the lowest wattage of the bunch at 10w compared to the other 2 at 20w/21w each…..but it was without a doubt equally as loud as the other two with trebles and bass being on par with the other two. Id really like to see how loud and clean a tribit with higher wattage sounds if this 10w speaker matched the higher wattage speakers I compared it to in my test.–Why I would choose the Oontz Angle 3 Pro instead: This one was the biggest and beefiest which I am a fan off….but I dont want you to think its a brick. its still plenty light where it wont feel like a burden lugging it around. This one also has a ocean/boat theme color pattern which is sweet and almost swayed me since i will be using this on my boat too. The other thing that almost swayed me was that the speaker can be used as a powerbank!!! So this ones sound is just as good as the other but the standout features are the looks, and the fact that it can be used as a powerbank which can come in very handy. Its not included but they have a bracket mount that clamps on to stuff…….not sure how it would hold up to movement and things like that but there is that option out there. Great, loud, excellent battery life
Playing this thing on 40-60% battery gets you many, many hours of play time. Even at 100%, it’s really good. It does a good job with bass and can get quite loud. I don’t care for the lights, so I keep them off. The bass boost doesn’t seem to do much. I’ll also note that the speaker seems to have its own internal volume, so if you push it as high as it will go, the phone will say 100% before the speaker gets to its actual max, and you’ll want to click the volume button on the speaker itself a good 4-5 more times more to hit the actual max/min. Just something to know!

My Garage Was Begging Me For Tunes
Not sure I have ever written a review within less than 1/2 hour of unboxing. I spend a lot of time in the garage and it suddenly dawned on me after 5 years talking to myself that it would be pleasant to have a small Bluetooth Stereo Speaker on my work table. I am pretty particular with all of my music, ex-DJ, but being it was going to reside in the garage, I needed to be dollar practical. Now, if you want a bass heavy blast this Doss model probably won’t do it for you. However, with the Bass Boost On or Off, the highs-mids-lows- balance really cleanly and shouldn’t disappoint. Soundwise, a 4+ and for the relatively low cost, I think it makes it to a legit 5.

Amazing sound!
This little speaker is a wonder. Amplifies the sound from audiobooks or music from my phone perfectly. It’s small and light enough to carry from floor to floor and was very easy for a non-tech senior to sync via Bluetooth. I couldn’t be more pleased.

J’avais la DOSS de gamme inférieur et content du résultat j’ai voulu pour les fêtes m’offrir celle-ci.Résultat :- pour un prix correct le son est largement suffisant- une fonction extra bass (pas forcément utile car suffisant de base)- possibilité de couper la led ou de la garder fixe sur une lumière (pas de stroboscope) pour ceux que ça agace le changement dynamique avec le rythme du son- un vrai son en 360°En bref satisfait et surpris de la finition du produit. Les matériaux sont de qualité et les finitions élégantes (voir photos).L’enceinte a déjà de bonne basses de base donc la fonction extra ne se met que rarement car elle va pour la plupart du temps ne rien ajouter.Après 2 mois d’utilisation : RaS l’enceinte a une bonne autonomie mais cependant pensez à la charger avant qu’elle ne s’épuise totalement car il va falloir dans ce cas la “reset” et utiliser un câble forte charge (pour tablette) pour relancer l’enceinte, sinon bonjour le SAV..Je conseille vivement !
