Silent as advertised
So, Ive been wanting to learn how to play the drums without driving my wife up the walls making noise all day. This Deekec practice pad was the answer to my problems. The rubber on the pad is dense and absorbs sound made from the sticks leaving a small unnoticeable audible tap. It has a good bounce to it which allows the sticks to bounce back and vibrate when needed. The back of the pad has another rubber material in it which provides the same quality of noice reduction as the blue side. There is a thread on the bottom which I assume can be used when mounting on a drum stand holder or some type of threaded tripod mount. The sticks are nothing to be desired as they appear to be a low quality of balsa wood however, they get the job done. Since using this pad daily my confidence has grown and my skills are getting better my the day. Since the pad is so small I bring it with me in my small shoulder sling bad and practice every chance I can get. Highly recommend.

Quiet Drumming
My 9-year-old son enjoys percussion instrument play. He sometimes uses pot lids, pans, containers, and other things we don’t want beaten up. This item addresses his need to get down on some banging the drums without the damage to our stuff and without cranking up the electronic drums. The construction and materials of the pad are fine. It’s made from what appears to be MDF/HDF and some resilient padding similar to a wetsuit or floor-tile. This makes the sticks bounce well and provides good feedback through them. We have been using on the counter or sitting on the lap but it would be nice to mount on a stand. It has a threaded mounting connector on the bottom. Overall its a good value in my opinion in that it comes with sticks and holds up well to drumming on it. We enjoy this item.

Practice those rolls in (near) silence!
This drum pad isn’t going to win any design awards, but it appears to be made well and should hold up for all your practice needs. Wood base with a rubber top and a foam non-slip pad on the bottom. I don’t know if it is just mine, but the metal mount underneath (I’ll add a photo later) extends beyond the pad. This causes the metal piece to contact the table before the foam does and could allow for sliding on hard, smooth surfaces. If you plan to mount this to a stand, it shouldn’t be an issue. I was not impressed with the sticks but it’s nice that they are included. This will work great for any drummer looking to practice those rolls quietly!
