Good, Clear Bass
These are an interesting take on earphones. Please see the image included in this review.Their shape is vaguely similar to the Apple earphones. The image is two of these with an Apple AirPod Pro 2 in between. While at first glance the earphones seem equivalent in size, thatâs not true with the parts that sit next to the ear canal. The Promise earphones are rigid and blunter and thus wider at the end than the AirPods that have ends that squish down. To my surprise, though, the Promise did fit my ears and were well retained.Pairing was nearly automatic both with an iPhone 14 Pro and a difficult to pair desktop running Windows 11. Most of my use was with the desktop which had a surprisingly short range of maybe 10â or 3m. The sound was clear with a better bass than other earphones. I used them for four hours with a mix of voice (streaming TV) and music. After that time, the battery in the earphones themselves registered 50% implying an endurance of 8 hours. However, in my experience the last 50% goes faster than the first so I feel sure that these earphones can last 6 hours continual use before needing a refresh in the case.The four hours in my ears did not produce discomfort despite the large size of the Promises. While they were retained, I was sedentary the entire time. Iâd not use these for anything antithetic including fast walking. In sum, I give these higher marks for music due to the clear bass than spoken word where such a bass isnât needed. Their lack of retention in other than sedentary conditions is a bit of a letdown.

Pretty good set for the price
Iâm impressed! For the price of these wireless Bluetooth earbuds, they work surprisingly well. They connected to my PC immediately through Bluetooth with no issues at all. I have very expensive major branded audio devices that constantly have problems pairing with my Bluetooth devices. Both sides have touch sensitive pause/start buttons. The sound is more than acceptable, although if youâre an audiophile, youâll be a bit disappointed. For songs with strong bass and high treble, things certainly get muddied up. These donât have noise canceling, nor do they have rubber grommets to help them cushion fit in the ear, but overall Iâd say this is a decent pair of earbuds to get your feet wet in the earbud space.

Beautiful and functional- cannot be beat!
These look so good; they have a clean elegant look that I cannot get enough of. The transparent and white is crisp and stylish. The noise cancellation is unbelievable; I have a very loud environment sometimes because of my dog barking at the mailman and squirrels. But the person on the other end was barely able to hear anything other than my voice. The sound is very clear and I love the high quality it provides without having to bother with a lot of EQ settings. This is a quality pair of earbuds; highly recommended.
