Highly recommend!
One of my favorite gifts that I am so excited about is our new smart home security items from @ecobee! We are always buying and trying the latest and greatest tech gadgets, so we knew we wanted to try the @ecobee products when we first saw them. I am also a bit of a worry wart so im hoping this will ease my mind both when we are home and away. The bundle my husband purchased includes the smart camera with voice control, window and door sensors as well as temperature sensors. After getting everything set up I can say I am really impressed with the app and its ease of use as well as the smart camera. It has a window mode feature which removes glare and allows you to see through glass with a 180â lens. Now the @ecobeethermostat is next on our list to buy!

Great system!
We love our ecobee home security bundle! The camera and sensors were easy to set up and using the app is even easier! The camera is clear and the wide field of view allows us to see multiple entries to our home in one shot. Panning and zooming is just like zooming into a picture on your phone. The ecobee camera is compatible with Apple HomeKit and allows you to integrate with all your other smart devices!

Great quality
Camera has great quality and sound. I love the siren feature that you can set off in the app. It also has a great panoramic view which is great in our living room layout. Iâm able to talk to my kids through the camera when Iâm upstairs and theyâre downstairs!!

Great for keeping the kids safe
I have two young kids who love to live a little wrecklessly, so the camera and door sensors are awesome for keeping an eye on them when they’re out of my view. We have a playroom that has an exterior door and is on the opposite end of the house from our kitchen/bathroom area. So, it’s nice to be able to check in on them with the camera if it’s a little too noise or a little TOO quiet. We use this with our Apple Home app and it’s great! So we can control lights, temperature, cameras and door/motion sensors all in one place though we use different brands for our thermostat and lights.

Garbage product
This thing is trash. It works for 5 seconds then freezes and the audio cuts out. When the audio does work, it starts on full blast so itâs obnoxiously loud for the 5 seconds that it works. The zoom is slow to act, just buy anything else.

We love it for our home. We are so glad we got it. We honestly enjoyed the door hooks the most. It’s almost invisible with a quick scan but it so convenient to keep our home safe.

DONâT BUY!I really wanted this product to work, as I already have an Ecobee Thermostat, which I âused to loveâ.1. The follow me feature only works 70-80% of the time. The main selling feature of their product is âno keypadâ, it is supposed to follow your phone and arm or disarm based on your location. It only works sometimes. Even after removing it from my home, I still get âmotion notificationsâ LOL.2. Customer service is nonexistent. Prepare to wait 30-45 minutes. Email response time is 4-5 days at best.3. Return policy. Beware, 30 day period starts on the date of purchase, not the date of receipt. So if you purchased it over the holidays and had shipping delays that is on you, not them. If you had a COVID related delay in installing it (or other delay), that is on you too. Their 30 day policy has no exceptions: âTo confirm, our return period does not have any leeway or ability to make active changes toâ this was from customer service, after 5 days.4. There only suggestion was to give it to someone or sell it, even though it does not work.The security equipment/monitoring space is very crowded. There are much better products and companies out there. Ecobee just slashed pricing on their security products, so you be the judge of why, I doubt it is because they are nice guys! Sad, because of this, I will probably âsell or give awayâ my thermostat as well.
