Edifier R1700BTs Active Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers – 2.0 Wireless Near Field Studio Monitor Speaker – 66w RMS with Subwoofer Line Out

Really nice, and worth the extra $’s for the subwoofer out.
I had purchased a small pair of Edifier bluetooth computer speakers, that were just what I needed, but the permanently attached cables that limited them to being 5ft apart didn’t work for me, so I returned them and upgraded to these at 2x the price. These speakers are overkill for what I need, but man do they sound good. I opted for these vs a cheaper set because they had a subwoofer out option. Glad I did. An old Cambridge Soundworks subwoofer I had works with these. These speakers sound great on their own, but the subwoofer pushes them over the top. The sound becomes more three dimensional and room filling. The bluetooth works great with all my devices so far, and the included remote is a nice touch. The included cable to connect the left speaker is long and will accommodate just about any placement you have in mind. The speakers came packed really well, kudos to Edifier on that. Definitely seems like a premium product.The only criticism I have is minor. I wish they had a separate knob for selecting between inputs. I don’t like multi function buttons, where you have to push and hold for one thing, and quick pushes for others. The remote mitigates that annoyance.These are substantial speakers, so if your looking for something small, these might not be for you.If I have problems, I’ll update this review, but so far so good. Excellent speakers for someone needing self-powered bluetooth capable speakers. The subwoofer out for only $10 more than the ones without it is worth it, imo. Much more versatile and room filling if you have a subwoofer laying around, or would like to add one later.

Good Quality for a good price
Bought this speakers on Black Friday and honestly they surpass may expectations by way to much. The quality of the speakers, the wood color and how solid it is, the connection and audio are far way to good for the price. Also is easy to setup and doesn’t take much space. Bluetooth is really easy to setup.

Outstanding performance and value
I’ve had these for almost a year and a half now, and I absolutely love these. They deliver a ton of power and sound for the packaging they’re in, the tuneability is a really nice thing to have, I’m an audio snob but not enough to be in the upper echelon of knowledge on it all. Everything from shows and movies to music and games are what I use mine for, and they continue to impress me. Love them so much I’m buying the non-bluetooth version as a gift.

These are pretty awesome! I’ve been looking at Edifier products for a while now. This model was a surprise – addition of Bluetooth 5.0 and sub-out was only in higher models, but now it’s in the budget models.The price was just right during Christmas holidays so I went for it.I like:- remote control to turn speakers on / off- light that shows which line the speaker is on- super seamless pairing for Bluetooth- switching between the incoming channels- great sound for a small room. The bass is not super deep, but enough to get play hip-hop (I might buy the woofer later)- design is great and materials are premium- on sale its an amazing deal!I don’t like:- the speakers have specific side assigned (one is left and one is right). It would be nice if you could reverse the sides so you could place the speakers with the controls closer to you. Reversing the line-in cables works, but for Bluetooth it’s still in the wrong order.- would be nice to have the optical line-in- these need sturdier / metal grills – my nephews will poke at these speakers within 5 seconds of seeing them. The grills are material based do the fingers will just go through them and will damage the speakers.- I would reverse the colors on the remote (black text on white background) or make them brighter so you could see the buttons better in the dark- skinnier connector cable between the two speakers?

Vengo de unas logitech z963, que incluyen subwoofer. La diferencia ha sido bastante grata! A pesar de no tener subwoofer. No lo necesita del todo. La calidad de sonido que tiene es espectacular!
