It’s electrifying
Actually it works well. Easy install, enough room in receptacle box, charges on usb c fast. Note that some ac adapters may still block the usb c ports though I find it better to have on top than middle of outlet.

Works as advertised; no complaints — but don’t like the pigtails
I bought this outlet and a bunch of others to bench test before committing to switching over all our non-GFCI outlets in the kitchen to ones that had USB outlets. This was one of the two I settled on.Works as advertised. I used a USB power meter to check output. When one port is being used, 65 watts is provided (although my MacBook Air 15 says 60 watts). When both ports are being used, they each max out at 30 watts, even if one of the two ports is plugged into a device that can’t use more than 5 watts (e.g., I’m not getting 45/15, etc.), but that is fine by me.The outlet is of course bulky, but it’s not a super tight fit like I’ve seen 5-10 years ago with lesser capacity USB charger outlets (and only USB-A).I don’t like the pigtail wire connections, which require wiring nuts to install. In multi-gang installations this is OK, since you have more than one outlet connecting to power coming out of the wall. But for single-gang installation, it’s a hindrance since it takes up space. They give you fairly large wiring nuts, too. If your space is at a premium, I recommend picking up some super small wiring nuts to use instead.Overall, though, am quite satisfied.(In case you’re wondering, the other outlet I settled on was also from ELGRP, model ERU2230AC1A-WH, also available from Amazon, which only has 30W but has both a USB-A and USB-C port.)

Great charger for my Surface Pro 9
I changed a few years ago from an Android tablet to a Microsoft Surface Pro (originally X, now 9) computer.I loved from the start the Surface Connector for charging. It is magnetically attached vs. mechanically. Problem is, the Microsoft OEM charger is a brick, with an AC cord and a charging cord. This worked but was not ideal. In my preferred location in my living room for using the computer, the charger/cord arrangement was bulky. There are cords/cord combinations available that have a USB-C connector on one end and a Surface Connect on the other. With this outlet and a 6 ft. USB-C cord with Surface Connect, the brick is gone and the single cord is easier to stash (or remove) than the old charger setup.I will say that the Surface Connect cord fittings with a PD charger (as is this outlet) limit the charging power to 41W, vs. the 45W+ “required” by my Pro 9. The computer tells me the charging with this outlet and my cable configuration is “slow”, but the computer charges, albeit in a longer time. (With the computer at max screen brightness and in use constantly, the computer still charges. I am okay with that.)If there were an OEM Surface Pro 9 charger that plugged in directly to an outlet without use of an AC cord, I might have been fine with that (I have a few PD chargers with folding AC prongs, which work fine). As it is, I love this outlet with my cord setup. I now use a 6 ft. cord, but I could change to a different (longer) cord and this outlet would still work. The OEM brick charger? Not so much (again, integral AC folding prongs on the brick, different story). The outlet is as big as a duplex outlet can get. With the minimal acceptable box size and 12 ga. wire, getting all the wires connected and stuffed in the box is not easy, but it is doable. It is understandable why the outlet needs to be so big, but it is more challenging to install than a simple duplex outlet.

Excellent Wall Outlet, Bad Screws
These are excellent value for money and worked well once installed. However the screws to attached the wall outlet to the receptacle box are weak and lose the square indent for screw driver/drill. I had to sometimes use the old screws of the old wall outlet as those screws were more sturdy that these. Also if somehow Elegrp can reduce the depth of the outlet then that would help. For tight spaces its hard to fit it in. Most of the wall outlets at my home are from Elegrp (except for GFCI) and all have the screws issue. Some wall outlets have the USB outlets and some dont have USB outlets but the screw issue is common for all. I also installed Leviton and Feit wall outlets and they never had any screw issue or any other issue.

65 W version provides enough power to run a laptop
The previous USB outlet I bought did not deliver enough power to run my laptop. The 65 W Elegrp does.It comes with wire nuts and pigtails, which is a little simpler to connect than screw clamps. But it does take up more space in your junction box.

Good Quality
These Outlet Receptacles work really well. I liked them so much that I bought another set. They work well and USBs charge our devices fast.

easy to install, very fast USB charging
I installed one of these on our kitchen counter and bought some quality USB-C cables. Now everything charges VERY quickly. If you’re accustomed to the standard fare of 15w to 20w, you’ll be shocked at how fast this will charge your devices.

Easy to install and worked as designed.
Easy to install and worked as designed. Saves having to use a transformer cube with the Apple provided cable that came with my new phone.

No option for push in wiring, and the wiring screws have insufficient clearance between their head and body of the plug to easily attach 14awg wire.

Bought this model as it was the only one on the market advertising 18W per USB Port. Bought it intending to use the Type-C port with a HomePod mini.HomePod mini boots and acknowledges the 18W (9V @ 2A). However, it seems when playing music at a volume past 50%, the receptacle fails to consistently power the HomePod mini at the required current and in turn, reboots… 🙁

Perfecto para cargar mi nuevo iPhone

It does the job, only issue is when you connect a device in the USB outlet, not enough space left to connect iPhone charger. The small square adapter doesnât fit anymore.
