Four star chair, Five star customer service
This chair is overall great quality for the price. It is very comfortable and looks much nicer than other chairs at this price point.However, I agree with other reviewers that it is a difficult to attach the back of the chair to the arms/base; it definitely requires two people and a lot of force in screwing it on tightly. The screws seem like they should be longer. And there seems to be some inconsistency in the build quality, as some of the holes for the screws in the chair backrest had an extra metal insert, and some did not. If they all had that insert, it would have been easier to assemble.Where I was extremely impressed is the customer service – They were highly responsive, kind, and professional the whole way through when I messaged them about an issue. The back of my chair was damaged in shipping, and I contacted them and received a response within 24 hours. They very quickly offered me a partial refund or replacement backrest. I accepted the replacement and it was shipped to me within 24 hours. The replacement did have one less metal screw insert than the previous backrest, again demonstrating the inconsistency in build quality. But, we were still able to assemble the chair and it seems solid. Overall happy with my chair and glad to have a customer service team that was so willing to resolve my issue!

Decently comfortable, though with unnecessary lumbar protrusion
Some background: The package had no instructions. I had to find instructions online to discover they had sent me the wrong seat part. After I contacted them about it, they told me to send them the mailing address (which they should have already had). Finally, about a month after the initial order, my seat arrived. I should mention that although they were polite about this snafu, there was no apology, let alone an offer for store credit or a partial refund. That’s fine, but some acknowledgement that they messed up would have been nice.The chair itself is difficult to assemble, though I managed to do it in about an hour. It’s comfortable, though a bit *too* squishy (I prefer some degree of firmness), and the lumbar support protrudes forward way too much. I prefer a straighter and more upright back, and at least an adjustable lumbar section. (Gaming chairs have an advantage in this regard.)It’s not a *bad* chair per se, but not worth the $200 price tag.

Easy to assemble, great quality.
Beautiful chair! Assembly was easy and took about 15 minutes to put together. I love the rich brown material. Even though it is not leather, it feels like it. Definitely recommend.

Doesn’t tilt back very far
Just got it and it’s a little hard, but I’m sure the cushions will break in with use. My one complaint is that it doesn’t tilt back very far. Really a desk chair and not a lounging chair.

First – do build instruction 1-3 last. The bolts of the cushion and arms are hard to align and you need to get a good grip and manipulate on the floor. If you mount the base itâs near impossible to align everything up unless you have a team of three.After a few hours of use itâs comfy, pretty basic height and tilt but not too much tilt or height adjustment. Lifting arms feel sturdy but just plastic joints. I suspect this is where the failure will occur into the future as plastic on plastic parts ware out, but for now all right and solid.Overall nice basic executive style VFM chair for a basic home office.
