Meets my needs for multiple cameras allowing SDI and HDMI sources.
I spent much time looking for the right monitor to use with two different cameras. I have a Sony PMW 200 video camera with SDI and HDMI outputs and Sony Alpha 6300 mirror-less which has HDMI and 4K output. I usually shoot in studio and indoor settings so the 450 nit brightness is just right. Everything which was advertised has worked very well. You do need to order batteries and a charger, I wish is came with an external plug in power supply. I worked right away when connected to either camera and gave me a very solid image. I am very satisfied with the image quality and the various functions it offers. I am pleased you are able to loop through with SDI or HDMI (but can only use one or the other format). Looking forward to using it for many projects to come.

So far this monitor has performed beautifully for the first 2 shoots I’ve put it through. I’m just using it to operate off of and so I cannot speak fully to whether or not it’s peaking and other assist modes are dialed in enough for professional focus-pulling. (*I’ll leave that review to the AC’s) But I found the frame marker settings super helpful. I haven’t fully tested it’s compatibility on a variety of cameras or connections yet. But as far as the basics, it seems to do everything that it’s advertised to, and at a really accessible price-point. I think it’s a really great value for what you’re getting! *I wish it came with some more hardware (Or at least a power-supply or a battery and charger in general, had to figure out that stuff separately) But, basically that just means you’re not paying for extra stuff you ultimately may not want for your personal setup. Definitely helpful, and worth checking out!

Great image quality
Works very well on HDMI. Love the programmable buttons for quick access to features. Purchased for testing SDI signals on broadcast TV projects but don’t have many of these in the winter and don’t have an SDI video source to test those ports. The centre pins of the BNC female connectors are a little offset making me concerned about their reliability for using them a lot. I have decided to use leave a 90-degree connector on the monitor to protect the input BNC. I suspect that there is pressure on the inside of the case forcing them to be off centre but am hesitant to open case for now. I ordered monitor while visiting the US so returning it is not feasible.

Great monitor on a budget
Iâm glad I was able to get this in a pinch and for cheap. It was much cheaper than my SmallHD although the picture quality is not nearly as good it still does the job and has a lot of features. The build is pretty cheap

This is a great little SDI/HDMI 4K monitor with good features. I use it at work every day to frame shots on POV cams with SDI outs. Great value for the price

Perfect for what I needed
I love that this monitor had both an SDI and HDMI in and out since I use both quite often. The picture quality is awesome and I love the features that are included. The menu can be a little difficult to get the hang of, remembering which buttons to hit but, other than that, works great!

Gerat little monitor for the price.
I needed something with both SDI and HDMI to sit on top of several different cameras. Picture looks good on either input. Loop out is nice. Menu structure is easy to understand. But it does not convert SDI to HDMI on the loop out. Not a deal breaker for me, but it would have been nice. But I guess for the price, you can’t have everything.

I wrote a great review for this product at some point touting the great value of thisProduct… but I have to take it all back.After purchasing this unit in October of 2019, it died in November 2020.Okay a year you say?? Sure.. well, thatâs a misleading amount of time.Hereâs a breakdown:Unit logged 20Hours of total use time before the end of the gig year and then pandemic hit. Since then it sat in its hard plastic case I bought and foamed, which travels inside my workbox, until some work this summer (add 10 hrs) and then some More in the fall(10 hrs)- Unit then dies on show day – estimating 40h (or less) of total run time. Itâs not myPrimary monitor and ink gets used when I need to check truck paths… I wrote Feelworld & after sending a video for diagnostic they kindly tell me the motherboard or screen has failed and unit is out of warranty (by 3 weeks). The solution is that I should buy a new unit (cheaper than a repair) of their crappy monitor. Granted itâs 100 cheaper than when I purchased (wonder why)…I wonder how long it would have lasted in a normal gig year? 3 months?And s***!A company that stood behind its users in a sticky situation (pandemic..) would be great but thatâs a lot to ask for a $300 preview monitor. So with that, I wonder if TVlogic, Aja or BM, Atomos or even Lilliput, would help you out a little bit due to the circumstances in your own industry.Anyways donât be made a fool like myself. Buy something from BM or atomos, yeah itâs more expensive but it probably wonât die on you so quickly.
