Worked great – nice long run of HDMI cable

Provides a nice & clear video. Fixed my bad image jittering on my gaming monitor too!
A solid HDMI cable makes all the difference when it comes to completing the A/V system of your dreams. Not all HDMI cables are created equal though, with differentiators ranging from how the wire itself is insulated to how quickly the cable can pass signals from the input end to the output end. There are other important criteria, too, such as length and the design of cable tips. With all this in mind, itâs never easy to find the right cable for the job, especially when you start to have high end TV and gaming systems. After spending some time looking around and doing some research, I think Iâve finally found the rare pearl with this one.Cable and connector look great, and also feels well made and sturdy. One of the many advantages of getting an optical fiber HDMI cable like this one, is that I can finally stop using those bulky, thick and hard to place/manipulate HDMI cables, and enjoy a much lighter and thinner one, which is easier to install along the walls too. Nice also to see it was available in 30ft, which allowed me to reach from my media player, all the way up to my new big OLED LG TV.Picture quality was sharp, clear and fluid, with vivid colors too. Itâs hard to see on my video review, since Amazon tend to compress those a bit, but to give you a good example, it was like if the TV was just a window, and I was looking at something through it.Completely unexpected too, I tried this cable on my gaming PC and it fixed my image jittery problem I had while moving the camera around in the game. I thought it was originally due to my video card not powerful enough, but at the end it was just the HDMI cable that wasnât able to pass all that data properly. Also keep in mind that, if one step in your chain isn’t 4K/8K HDR, nothing is. As in, if you connect a 4K/8K Blu-ray disc player to an old sound bar and then to a 4K/8K TV, you won’t be able to get a 4K signal to the TV. Also, some TVs only have one or two HDMI inputs that are HDMI 2.1 compatible. Check your owner’s manual for that, too.Remember that this cable works only in one direction: Source –>> Display. If you plug it the other way around it will not work.

So mad. Don’t even bother. Yes, it’s too good to be true.
What do I dislike Amazon asks? I dislike the fact that this cable doesnt work even close to the amount of bandwidth that it states. Yeah 48gbps. BS!!! There is a reason its so cheap. Currently it is $49.99 with an additional $10 off. $39.99 for a 50 foot fiber optic HDMI 2.1 full 48 Gbps??? hahaha. Ok, sure. At least when I bought it it was around $60 or so. Its almost half that in three weeks.Look here is why I’m mad, and it’s partly my fault and I’ll explain. I am not inexperienced at all and I know tech. Ive worked in tech for many years and I’ve been building and fixing PCs for almost 20 years. I am also not new to HDMI 2.1 nor the required bandwidth needed for specific applications and devices. Ive had an LG CX for over 2 years and an LG C2 for about 6 months. I’ve also had PS5, Xbox series X, and series S since the beginning so that’s a while. I know how to test and calculate how much bandwidth is required per device for specific settings and I just got through fully testing the capabilities of two different HDMI 2.1 splitters. ok, enough of that….THIS DOES NOT WORK ANYWHERE NEAR THE STATED BANDWIDTH! NOT EVEN CLOSE. Judging by what I’m getting this is an 18 gbps cable. 18gbps!!! It could actually be lower as I’m only able to pull about 15gbps. It can output 3840 x 2160 at 60hz which is just under 15gbps. I played with all the resolutions and it can only output 120hz at 1920 x 1080 and below! lol . What? you must be kidding. Back it goes. So much for playing Hogwarts on the Lg tonight. I’m stuck at my desk playing on the uw alienware oled. Don’t buy this junk. I can’t vouch for cables shorter than 50 foot, and the quality seemed ok to me, but it just doesn’t even come close to the advertised bandwidth. We aren’t talking 32 gbps. That would be more understanding as you can still run 4k @ 120hz at certain bitrate and color depth settings, but 15gbps and you’re advertising this as hdmi 2.1 full 48gbps? BS!I just upgraded to a 4090 and 7900x. I have it hooked up to a AW3423DW 3440×1440 175hz UW OLED and an AW3418DW 3440×1440 120hz IPS. I also have a 55 inch Lg C2 on the other side of the room running a series x, ps5, and tons of other input devices. I thought it would be nice to be able to use my lg c2 with my new 4090 as it can handle it no problem and that led me to this cable. I could kick back and relax and play at 4k 120 when I don’t feel like sitting at my desk. Well I spent a good week rebuilding my machine and completing upgrades and undertaking an entire redo of cable management and lighting accents at my desk. I put days alone into the accent lighting and cable management, It is well thought out and meticulously executed. I got caught up in all this work that I didn’t check the cable before managing it behind and under the desk. Normally I wouldn’t do that; I’d test the cable fully before implementing it at all. I was so wrapped up in this project which consisted of a whole platform upgrade, psu upgrade, two gpus, a transfer into two cases, addition of a new ultrawide oled, new sound system, huge cable management and lighting project, and this hdmi cable to tie in the lg c2 oled. So yes I’m an idiot for managing the cable under the desk, but at least I didn’t run it around the entire room yet! that would have been real bad. It will be quick enoguh for me to remove this junk from my desk. And the search continues!!!!! Glad I checked now as I only have 5 days left to return… You have been warned. I’ve purchased a lot of 48ggbs HDMI cables the last two years.
Works like a charm –
HDMI
Does what it do.

Fixed my problem perfectly
My PC is in the basement but I use it on the tv in the living room. This has caused years of fun and interesting audio video issues. The most recent is trying to run 120 FPS on a 65″ tv 25 feet away. To long story short it, this plus a new optical audio cable (and taking eARC out of the mix) and I’m now dying to younger gamers in glorious 4k at 120 FPS.The thin cable is easier to get through the wall/floor and the hefty plug gives you a secure connection at both ends. While these may be more fragile than their traditional counterparts it’s great for running through walls and at least for me, provided relief from issues over distance.

Specs are as advertised. I’ve only opened 1 but it worked perfectly. You should note that its single direction so there is an end for the source and an end for the display. I specifically needed just shy of 15m so I can confirm that the length is as advertised. Product looks to be pretty sturdy compared to some of my previous HDMI’s.
