This was a recommended purchase , and I must say that I am glad that I did . First off , this an entry level mic . You only have access to mic gain and the ability to mute the mic itself . That is the only thing I can complain about , and I knew that going in . But despite that , this has turned out to be well worth it . Build quality is awesome for the price , and sound quality is even better . It also picks up sound very well from a distance , so no need to be too close . Iâm still in the process of getting used to thatð there are different models of the same brand , ones where you can control lighting , gain , and mic monitoring , thatâll be my next venture . This is without a doubt , a gateway product for anyone that has never used a condenser type mic , I should have made the switch a long time ago . Now Iâm not limited to a headset , using this mic allows me to use better headphones and still be able to effectively communicate with other people . If you are a pc gamer , like me , please do yourself a favor and make the switch . It doesnât have to be this particular brand , but just the type of mic in general . Iâm 44 years young ð so I donât necessarily care to much for the rgb , but it grows on you . My next one rather it be the same brand or a different one , will definitely have the ability to deactivate the lightning , or probably wonât even have lights at all . amazing! worth the money.
I saw some mixed reviews before buying and I’m glad I ended up buying it anyway. The mic arm is easy to install and doesn’t take up too much room on my desk. Sometimes it does cut out and my friends can’t hear me but it’s an easy fix and has only happened twice. I’ve got compliments in games, calls, etc. about how good my sound quality is. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a new mic invest in this one. As someone who has experience with different mics, higher end as well, this one sounds the same if not slightly better. One of my favorite setup investments.
