Sturdy little hand grip holds up 60ft deep!
Bought this for scuba diving, specifically. Took it out over last weekend, and it worked fabulously. It’s got a nice, sturdy grip, and the lanyard it comes with is perfect length to give me some space to mess about with the camera and also my other equipment while I’m down anywhere between 40-60 feet in the ocean. I went as deep as about 60ft. For diving, you just fill the tube halfway with water and you can maintain neutral buoyancy so it can still float, but not shoot up in case the lanyard ever does come loose. The seal on the tube is water tight too, so, if you’re ever snorkeling and want to put something in there, it will stay dray, but it’s quite small, so don’t think you’ll be able to stuff in a bunch of double AA batteries. The connection between the hand grip and my camera was strong too. Very secure. I didn’t feel worried once while down there that the screw was going to come loose at all, and I even bumped it around down there a few times on accident and nothing to indicate it had come loose or was breaking. This is a great little hand grip and I’m very happy so far with how it held up in the scuba conditions I took it under, but I’ll be using this on my kayak and snorkeling too.I attached a pic of the grip with the ProShot Waterproof phone case I used for the dive trip so you can see what my set up looked like for the day.

I have been a GoPro user for many years and I am used to taking my GoPro camera wherever I go on vacations. I went to Florida last year and took my camera to the beach with me. Although I had the “floaty back” but I was carrying my GoPro without a handle grip. The hollow compartment of the ProFloat is quite a useful design feature that turns the floatystick to a multifunction handle. Beside using it as a storage for small items, it will keep your GoPro safe on the surface of the water without drowning, but if you are diving deep in the water you can unscrew the orange end cap and let water into the chamber of the float, this will turn your floaty to a natural buoyancy and it will hover naturally under water without forcing its way up to the surface. Very premium quality hand grip – absolutely love it…
This is a very high quality premium product. The grip is very thoughtfully designed and serves as a multipurpose grip that not many floating grips offer.I had 2 different floating grips in the past 3 years. Both grips were serving one function and that was to l keep my camera afloat, they were good for that purpose but I could not dive deep as the float would force its way up to the surface of the water. This was very annoying in my last holiday because I did quite a bit of diving and could not take my camera deep into the water.This float is designed to perfectly serve you for both over the water and underwater photography. The orange cup at the bottom of the grip has 2 washers, which makes the inner chamber of the grip totally air tight and of course waterproof. So when the inner chamber is empty from water the grip will be filled with air and it will float and will not sink keeping your camera on the surface of the water. But if you wanted to dive deeper into the water you will unscrew the orange cap and fill the grip with water (maybe half way), now when you dive deep into the water the grip will hover with you without forcing its way up to the surface of the water, which is perfect for scuba diving snorkelling and other underwater photography which you cannot achieve with other floating hand grips.The material used to construct the grip is high quality, the handle is non-slippery, the mount on the top of the grip is quite solid and sturdy, the nut is attached to the mount, this is great because on my previous grip the nut was coming off the grip and they are quite tiny and easy to lose. I lost mine in the sand on the beach, I could not attach the camera no more, so it made the grip useless. The nut on ProFloat is moulded into the grip and does not come off which is a great design feature.Overall, this is a great product, very premium look and feel to it and a fantastic design. Will recommend it to any action camera holder.

Manche pour utilisation sous-marine pour GoPro. J’ai revu ma note de 3 à 4 étoiles. Ça fait la travail mais trois petits bémols:1) L’attache n’est pas parfaitement ajustée et il faut un peu pousser pour y glisser les languettes de la GoPro (j’ai personnellement limé quelque peu le plastique);2) Le joint intérieur a lâché à la seconde ouverture. Ça n’a heureusement pas d’impact sur l’étanchéité du manche; le joint principal bien plus solide.3) La vis de l’attache n’est pas en métal inoxydable et rouille légèrement. Pensez à la rincer à l’eau douce et à la sécher après utilisation.Sinon, les points positifs: le manche est creux et on peut y glisser de l’argent ou des petits accessoires, il y a une dragonne et un petit mousqueton. J’ai pu tester en mer la flottabilité, elle est légèrement positive avec un boîtier étanche, ce qui est bienvenu: elle flotte en remontant lentement vers le haut mais en restant maniable.

Brilliant camera and just what I needed for travelling abroad. Great price too.Great attachments for every scenario possible whether biking or hiking. Highly recommended.
