Quality of life upgrade
Easy to set up magnetic phone mount with several options for use that doubles as a charger. My experience with the charging functionality was such that it would not allow my battery to drop below its current battery readout if I was also using the phone to play music from in the car but charging would eventually stop. If I wasnât using the phone to play music from while on the mount it did charge the phone well but itâs a slower charge than just plugging it in at home with one of the newer usb-c to lightning cables. I donât know if my experience with its use to this point is the norm for this kind of charger as it is the first magnetic charger I have used with this phone. As far as the hold on the phone while in use, itâs practically flawless. Iâve had other phone mounts before but the ease of use of the magnetic system without need for other special equipment or some kind of attachment plate to the phone back or case is refreshing and has made going on trips just this much more enjoyable, it is a definitive quality of life upgrade or luxury that I can do without but at this point donât really want to. I can see how someone who travelled more than I do would see this as more of a necessity especially if using the phone as a navigation tool.

I think itâs great
Iâve seen some reviews that had a lot of negative things to say about this but has worked wonderfully for me. I used with my iPhone 13 Pro, 14 Pro, and 15 Pro Max and my phone has never fallen off. If you put a case on your iPhone that is more than a couple millimeters thick, you HAVE to get one with magnets built in. That goes for any MagSafe accessory. If youâre putting your phone in one of those ridiculous overkill OtterBox cases with 15m drop protection or whatever that makes your phone the size of a brick and has no additional magnets in it, thatâs on you for being silly. The only problem that Iâve had is that when itâs really hot outside and my phone is charging up on the windshield it will get too hot. Again I do t blame the manufacturer bc it would do exactly the same in a non-charging mount while plugged in. The suction cup on this is really great. Itâs extra grippy but there is a reason it comes with that little plastic plate with the adhesive. Iâve seen all these ridiculous reviews from silly people complaining that the suction cup wonât stick directly to their textured, plastic dashboard (and theyâre almost all either fully plastic or coated in plasticâeven if it feels like leatherâDuPont can do amazing things). Itâs a suction cup! It works on pretty basic physical principles. This one is good, but some of you need to adjust your expectations to match the real world weâre stuck living in. 5 Stars to you if you made it to the end of my rant!! LOL

Works as it should with no rattle or bounce
The good:- Sticks very well. Also see below.- It has enough adjustability for me and once locked and tightened down it doesn’t move, even over bumps.- The magnet holds my various magsafe cases as strong as any other accessories.Maybe not so good:- The suction cup has the sticky gel pad on it. This shouldn’t be required for windshield mount but it doesn’t appear to have a normal suction cup under it like the Scosche mounts do. No biggie unles you have to reposition it. When I say sticky I mean it.- Doesn’t seem to charge quite as fast as a standalone magsafe but I’m not using the included accessory adapter, just plugging into the car USB. Also, the screen is always on when I’m in the car so don’t take this as a hit since I’m draining the battery while charging.Just a note, I’m using this with a Galaxy S22 Ultra and “magsafe compatible” cases.

My only downside to this product is having to remove the phone cover. For my work it would be unwise to use a thin or low quality phone cover which this product obviously cannot charge through.

Well first the good, with my case it sticks really hard and my phone has never fallen, even after bumpy roads etc. I love using my phone with carplay on long drives which makes it important to have wireless charging for audiobooks, podcasts and maps which kill battery if not charging. As well I like how much you can control the angle and height of the phone on the stand. I had it go out on me and they customer support was awesome and they sent me a new replacement for free. I appreciate that! The bad, The suction cup could affix to the window tighter. It can be a tiny bit loose which can make it bounce a bit on bumpy roads or hills etc. I like a really super solid mount. But it has not been as bad as I feared. and now I do not even notice it since I use carplay.

Pretty good, but didn’t last.
This charger was great. It worked perfectly for the first two months. Everything I could have wanted. The only problem is the thing died just today. I was waiting to post this review to see if anything would happen in the long run and good thing I did.So here’s everything you need to know. The magnet that holds the phone is strong, it doesn’t even come close to falling off. The charging isn’t the best, but that’s standard with wireless charging so no points off. The suction cup that holds it is good. It hasn’t come off in the California heat yet. Before it broke, my only problem was that the cable that came with it was too short for the position I wanted to put it in. That’s easily fixed with another cable though, so not a big deal. The plastic turners that keep everything in position are kind of hard to turn and thus leave it somewhat loose and able to move away from how you initially set it. Finally, it just broke today and I have no clue why. The exchange period is over so I’ll open it up and see what the problem is. Then I’ll post new photos so you can see what went wrong.
