I wanted to like this more than I did
While I’ve been loving my Fold 5, I’ve been struggling to find a good case for it. This one was close to a long term solution but had a few flaws that got me to move on to a different case. What I liked:A lot of cases, the front screen is hard to type on thanks to raised edges of the case. Those ones often drift sideways with wear, making typing even harder at the extreme edges of the screen. This case has raised edges, but just enough to protect the screen, not enough to hinder texting. The hinge cover also has some light magnets in it, keeping it over the hinge, which prevents the edge of the front cover from being exposed (which causes that drifting). So big marks here. What I was lukewarm on:I liked how slim the case was, but I do not feel like it would provide much in the way of shock absorption. I know this seems counter intuitive, but this case feels like it would shatter and let the phone keep going, should it land on a corner. I’m delicate with my phones, but yeah I need more than that. The kickstand is ok, it works in one orientation well, and not at all in the other when unfolded. My big concern was the metal edges on the kick stand felt like they could easily scratch up a table.Things I did not like at allThe back portion of the case would migrate, and the little felt feet inside (assumedly for some pressure to keep it put) would end up moving and hanging out of the cracks between the case and phone. The “metal” parts of the case are very much just plastic, and they feel cheap. The injection of the smooth black part on the center of the back was uneven, and felt incredibly cheap in the hand.3.5/5 stars imo

Poor Quality
Product feels like it’s made of very cheap materials. The only metal part of the case is the kickstand. The other colored areas are just cheap plastic.

It’s a good case
This case works well and is very well crafted. It’s beautiful and stands out which is nice because I’m always losing my phone. I don’t really like how it doesn’t lay flat because of the kickstand but that is my only complaint and is more of a personal preference than any real issue with the case. Nonetheless I still very much like it and will continue to use it.
