Revolutionary design – QuickFit and SimpleWire technologies offer groundbreaking home automation features. Unique advancements make the controls easier to install and more reliable than ever.
QuickFit – Improved components reduced the housing depth by up to 20% compared to previous models and eliminated the need for heat tabs. QuickFit enhancements are the ideal solution for older-style switch boxes, multigang configurations or any other application with limited space.
Light-commercial capable – Rated for universal 120/277VAC use, the switch works in a variety of systems. Common home installation is supported with 120VAC smart controls or light-commercial applications are possible through 277VAC automation devices.
Multi-switch operation – The switch is not a stand-alone device. It must be used with a Wi-Fi, Z-Wave or Zigbee smart control for home automation. A smart switch or dimmer and as many as four add-on switches can be linked for operation from up to 5 locations.
Versatile compatibility – Partner the add-on switch with any smart switch, dimmer or fan control from Enbrighten and UltraPro to upgrade traditional 3-way setups. The add-on switch offers the same functions as the primary switch.

    Works with ADT Pulse
I have been using these light switches for years with the ADT Pulse system to control various lights. They’re easy to install and enroll into the Pulse system. They need a neutral wire to operate so make sure you have a neutral in the box. A lot of older homes do not have neutral wires in existing light switch boxes so double check before ordering this switch.

    Make your house smarter…
I’ve installed 50+ of these at multiple locations. They are my go to for smart switches. Easy enough to sync with your smart hub. generally speaking, the one drawback is that they occasionally fail when their are line issue/glitches/surges. I have 8 running in my own home at the moment. Would buy again

    Works well
Just note that these may go bad after several years – and need to be replaced. Much more expensive than the “generic” equivalent.

Installation can be a little tricky but it works like any other smart switch
This Enbrighten Ad-on switch is very useful if you would like to control your smart switches from multiple locations. The QuickFit design makes it easier to get it installed because it’s 20% smaller and there are not any annoying break-off tabs like the older models.1. INSTALLATION – it’s very important to note that you MUST have a Neutral cable in your electrical box for this Ad-on switch to work, otherwise it will not work. The package comes with detailed instructions in english and Spanish so make sure you follow along. I’m not an electrician but I’ve switched plenty of switches in the past so I didn’t find it difficult to install, but your mileage may vary.2. COMPATIBILITY – I’ve only used this switch with GE/Enbrighen switches, but you can use this ad-on switch to compliment another Enbrighen/GE Zigbee, Z-wave or Wi-fi switch. This Ad-on switch will not work by itself so you have to use another main switch.3. USABILITY – Use this switch to control Smart Lights, Ceiling Fans or Pumps. It’s a toggle switch, so you gently press it once to either turn on/off the lights and keep the toggle pressed to dim/brighten the lights.I use SmartThings to control my main switch and it works perfectly fine, so as long as your Main switch is paired with a hub, then you should not have to do any additional configuration for the Ad-on switch.

    Easy and effective smart switch
This review is for the Add-On Switch, which works as a “slave” in a 3-way setup with a second Enbrighten switch, which works as the “master.” I found it easy to install myself and works like a charm. A few notes:The “master” switch must receive power from the breaker panel. So, you need a tester to ensure you know which switch is receiving power from the breaker. I have two of these 3-way setups at my house and in both cases it was the switch farthest away from the breaker that was receiving power from the breaker, and hence the master switch must go there. The add-on switch is installed in the secondary switch location. The master switch is also the switch that you’ll add to your smart home setup. I’m using SmartThings, and adding the master switch was as easy as scanning the QR code. No need to do it again with the add-on switch. The dimmer control is nice: just hold the up or down paddle for a moment and the light will dim. Of course, you can also ask Alexa to dim the lights.

Great Product, that does not last
As a consumer who has invested in home automation technology, I regret to say that my experience with the Enbrighten Z-Wave In-Wall Smart Light Switch with QuickFit and SimpleWire has been disappointing, to say the least. Despite its promises of convenience and efficiency, I’ve found myself needing to replace these switches far more frequently than anticipated. One of the primary issues I’ve encountered with these smart light switches is their durability, or lack thereof. Despite being touted as long-lasting and reliable, I’ve found that the switches tend to malfunction or fail altogether after just a couple of years of use. Whether it’s a sudden loss of connectivity, unresponsive controls, or complete system failure, the reliability of these switches leaves much to be desired.Furthermore, the need for frequent replacements adds up in terms of both time and money. Not only am I forced to spend additional funds on purchasing new switches, but I also have to invest valuable time and effort into uninstalling the old ones and installing the replacements. This becomes particularly frustrating when considering the initial investment made in setting up and integrating these smart switches into my home automation system.Additionally, the installation process, while marketed as simple and straightforward, can be cumbersome and time-consuming, especially when dealing with replacement switches. The promise of QuickFit and SimpleWire features falls short when faced with the reality of compatibility issues and the need for additional adjustments and troubleshooting.Overall, I cannot in good conscience recommend the Enbrighten Z-Wave In-Wall Smart Light Switch with QuickFit and SimpleWire to other consumers. While the concept of smart home technology is undoubtedly appealing, the lack of reliability and longevity exhibited by these switches ultimately outweighs any potential benefits they may offer. Until significant improvements are made in terms of durability and performance, I would advise exploring alternative options for home automation needs.

Rock Soild – easy to install
these were easy to pair to my Hubitat HUB, high quality construction compared to my old Insteon devices and very easy to install electrically . I love the terminals on this switch. supports stand alone, 3 way with a standard 3 way switch or reduced wiring with an Enbrighten remote switch. has cool option to customize the LED color on the front plate and to change when the LED comes on. has a nice disconnect switch on the front for resetting or bypassing. overall I give it a 10
