Well made with plenty of bounce
This is a well made practice pad with a nice rebound. It’s two-sided. One side appears to be constructed of dense silicone and has more of a rebound than the other side, which seems to be more porous and a bit less responsive. Drumming on either side was not as quiet as I would have liked, but overall this is a very good practice pad.

Awesome practice pad
This pad is the perfect practice pad to throw in a backpack and take with you wherever you need. My son and I both are percussionist and we have multiple practice pads varying in size and design. This pad is the favorite due to its size and portability.The playing surface gives you good reaction that you could expect without it being too reactive or dead. The feedback is not an exact match to a snare, but I have yet to practice on one that is. This feels like all the other practice pads of similar design, just in a smaller package. We are able to work on our rudiments without annoying the rest of the family and it is just big enough that we both can play on it together (though we need to tighten up when doing so).Overall a great pad for both the beginner and those with multiple years of experience.

Simple, Elegant Drum Pad
This drum pad surprised me with its quality. There’s no frills; it is what it promises, but the padding and rubber grip are much better than what some other reviews suggest. It’s a decent thickness and stays put while you’re using it. The edges of the wood and mat are cut cleanly and finished nicely. The response/bounce on the pad feels true, and is what you’d expect from a good drum pad. Excited to put some hours in on this bad boy and hone my techniques.
