I have had amazing experiences with other Govee products so I bought this for outside holiday decorations. Plugged it in, connected it to the Govee app, and discovered you can program each outlet individually. This means that if you are doing multiple types of decorations you can program when they come on or off based on the type of device. Ex. I have a couple of inflatable decorations that I want on during the day and part of the night. I was able to program them to come on late morning and then turn off around midnight. Then I have some light strings that I wanted to be on dusk to dawn. I just changed the setting for that outlet to sunset to sunrise in the app. Everything turns on and off as expected at the times that were set in the app.I have other Govee lights and within their app I was able to add the outlet for the string of lights to sync with what I already had set up. If you are considering buying this, just do it. You won’t be disappointed.

Update: 2 months later, the plug has quit working. Too pricey for it to only work 2 months! And of course my return window is closed.Original post: Put this outside and plugged our yard lights into it. I love that the actual plug ins stay protected from the rain. Works great! Love Govee products. So easy to control on the app!

I really dislike this product!? For one reason only…..
We recently purchased a RV for a few getaways during the off times of our lives. One of the problems was that when we are not occupying the RV that is a few hours away, we cannot control the heat, lights and other electrical items that we want to enjoy upon our arrival or with great expense. I found this product by searching for a Wi-Fi heater that we could plug in a turn on/off when we are away or heat the RV before arriving or to protect it on cold winter nights. The heaters are fantastic and the app easy to navigate and works as I had hoped (even better than I anticipated) That lead me to the other line of their products of which are all very very easy to operate and allow you to control many different items while afar. We have now this item and the small single plug devices to control outside lights, boot heaters etc etc. Anything that plugs in and has a dedicated on/off switch works but it looks like they also have numerous items that would work independent of your own plug in items. Great product. I just wish it didn’t say owned by PRC…..
