Pretty good general purpose charger
I review a lot of chargers and power banks and in general, they all hit pretty much the same points. Most people aren’t super concerned about all the tiny details but just want to know it holds a charge, can power things quickly, are at least fairly durable and can let you know when it needs charged. On each of these items, this does well. I see many people commenting that it’s big but I don’t think that’s really the case. It’s about an inch shorter than most of my other ones, it’s a little deeper , maybe 4 -5 cm but it is heavier. When I received it the charge was at 59%. I plugged it in to see how fast it could get to 100 and it got there right at about an hour and a half. The display on the side lets you easily see how much of a charge it has.Other noteworthy items, there are two C ports and two standard USB ports. There are no built in cables so you need to keep those handy if you’re going to travel with it. I have a Samsung ZFold and I have had problems with several of my older banks in that they’ll throw up a slow charge warning with many of them. When plugged in to this is shows the Super Fast Charging notification if it’s standing alone. This is where it’s interesting – I had 74% charge on my phone and plugged it in to the bank. It then showed Super Fast and 32m to fully charged. However, if I plug the charger into a source it moved down to just standard charging and was 59 minutes. So obviously it does the job one way much better than it does two ways. Not a huge deal but worth noting. When I added my kindle at the same time it still showed the Super Fast charge notification – I didn’t try more than two devices but that was still what I was hoping to see.All in all this is a nice charger, it’s very solid and it does what it’s supposed to and does it well.

heavy duty portable power bank
The Juovi 20,000 mAh power bank charger is heavy but powerful. It takes some time to charge to 100% which I imagine is because the power bank contains a large amount of power once charged. I use this to charge my phone, my USB powered fans, my USB powered lights all without having to recharge the battery for a long time. It is double the power of most power banks. Digital readout will tell you the percentage of charge remaining. One port for USB A cords and one USB C input/output slot. Arrived with one USB C to USB C cord. If I could improve on design I would build in three cord types – micro USB, USB C and apple lightning to make this device more attractive. Having to carry the cords to plug into the device makes this a good product but not a great product. When I am mobile I need to carry as few items as possible. This item is designed to be mobile. Given the weight it is better as a back up power supply in the car or student back pack rather than in the purse or laptop bag.

A fantastic power bank
I’ve been testing this power bank in several scenarios recently and found it to be a consistent performer every time. I began testing with my QRP HF radio and a step-up converter running the little radio for 4 hours and barely using 30% of the power bank. I then tested it over the course of a week to power the monitor for my weather station. It would consistently power the monitor for roughly 18hours from a full charge. My wife and I were both able to charge our phones at the same time when the power went out after someone was teaching their car to climb light poles again. (It’s a common thing for some reason.) This power bank has yet to disappoint.

CHARGES DEVICES QUICKLY
Keeps all of my electronics charged and ready to use. LED display lets me know how much juice it has left is an excellent feature. I’ve used others that don’t and it’s a crap shoot. Portable and impressive. I highly recommend this item.

A pretty solid, yet big power bank
When the power bank arrived, like everyone else, I did notice that it’s a pretty hefty beast. But it’s also built quite well and holds an appropriate amount of power (charge). For some use cases, like a power bank to store in the car or in the house, etc. this is a solid choice. But less so for on the go.Pros:1. Built quite well.2. Has a useful indicator screen.3. Keeps a charge for a long duration when unused.4. A solid # of ports, including a 35W fast charge.Cons:1. Large size.2. When attached to my tripod light for power, I did notice the light flickers slightly, though very fast. It’s tolerable for me, though professionals who need to power light sources might want to consider this.

Solid all around power bank
The manufacturer claims that this has 74wh of capacity. I am glad they used watt hours as amp hours does not really tell you directly the capacity. Doing a quick test showed that at 50% capacity left it had put out 31wh so 74wh is probably correct. Next the manufacturer claims that it can do 35 watts out and in. I tested the input using a pd charger and it was pulling around 35 watts when being charged. To test the output I plugged this into a larger power bank that has pd input charging and I got the same wattage out. I wanted to test charging and discharging at the same time so when this was putting out 35w I plugged in a charger to it and it would only charge at around 15w… so yes and no on pass through charging. A couple things to note: when you use a pd port it causes the other pd port to reset and re negotiate which is somewhat normal from my experience. This power bank has a “trickle charge” mode that you can set by double clicking the power button and plugging something in to charge. the only thing I noticed in this mode is it would not go above 10w when in this mode. there is probably more to this mode and what it does specifically, but I don’t think I would use this mode so I didn’t test further. the unit got warm during use at around 95F, but that was more the circuit board then the batteries. I plugged in a single led bulb that pulls less than 1w and the power bank did not shut off after 10 minutes so the auto off has a low threshold.

I am really impressed with this portable power bank! With 20,000mAh of power, it provides more than enough juice to charge my phone, tablet, and even my Nintendo Switch multiple times. The 35W fast charging feature is a game-changer â it charges my devices incredibly quickly, and I never have to worry about running out of power during long trips. The LED display is super helpful as it shows the remaining battery percentage, so I always know when itâs time to recharge the power bank itself. The PD3.0 and QC4.0 fast-charging protocols make it compatible with a wide range of devices, including my iPhone 15 and Galaxy phone.Itâs lightweight enough to carry around in my bag, and the fast charging capabilities are especially great when Iâm in a rush. If youâre looking for a reliable, high-capacity portable charger that delivers fast charging, this power bank is perfect.
