Left a 2 star review last night. After trying to pair it with my tv for another hour, everything all of a sudden paired and all is working now. No idea why but all seems to be fine now.

Fire TV has more it is not better
I have to be careful in my language during this review due to Amazons, super sensitive and virtuous views on what is appropriate for their website and its review section as you can see the picture provided as two remotes bought literally two weeks apart from Amazon who we all know in love as you can tell, they are not the same wow. They do not program the same. They do not act the same. They not did not control the same things or acting the same way in any shape or form I ask you like myself a lover of Amazon and all things associated with Amazon , can that be Amazon is perfect. Amazon is all knowing I have been using the fire player for easily 15 years probably since it first came out started with Roku and then the Amazon Amazon box came out I have to say I wish I had my original Roku player now Iâve gone down well of financial Stuff not my hesitancy to use any language that might be offensive Amazon can verify this by looking up my purchase history of how many of these wonderful players I have purchased as well as replacement remotes over the years I am sure that Amazon and all knowledge and wonder because we all know and love Amazon . I am finding joy and wonder and watching Amazon and Apple continually change little things so that you have to continually repurchase their products like a simple remote that you wouldnât think would matter for anything, but did you know that remotes control everything so you need them I know crazy huh Anyway, as I drone on and on about my love for Amazon and everything Amazon because we all no one love Amazon, I still feel the need with great sorrow and heartfelt pain still complain with great hesitancy and remorse about the quality or lack there of of the remotes and the fire player and stick in general Hopefully Amazon will fit to publish this dissertation on my behalf for your reading pleasure and hopeful enhancement of knowledge donât doubt Amazon donât ever doubt Amazon we all know and love Amazon
