This comes in handy for labeling products, looks more professional and easy to put on and also easy to remove without leaving a tape residue. Battery lasts long, wish it was a little bit smaller in size but it prints fast and easy to cut.

The unit charges easily via USB-C, and it comes preloaded with label tape featuring black type on white labels.However, there are a few drawbacks. Some of the buttons were not properly aligned, making them difficult to press at times. The unit itself is a bit bulky, and it feels like it could be more compact. Despite this, the labels come out smoothly and are easy to cut.The backlit LCD screen is a nice feature, providing clear visibility in various lighting conditions. However, I noticed that when using the largest font size, certain letters (like the bottom of a “g”) were slightly cut off. This suggests that the largest font may be a bit too large for the machine’s design.Overall, the LM1600 is light, easy to handle, and offers good functionality, but there are some design and usability issues that could be improved.

I got this label maker for adding quick information to products and adapters. I like that I can quickly turn it on and type some text and print, but still have the option to use the app for more flexibility. Keyboard has some reliability issues but it’s still convenient for quick labels. I like that this still can use an app for more customization of label.Making labels on unit is decent. Screen is backlit and pretty easy to read. Editing is smooth, with cursor that can be moved around, insertion, backspace, and display of current label width. Keyboard is OK but presses don’t always register, even when you press firmly and feel a click. Typing letters, numbers, and spaces is quick, but everything else is under punctuation button with a menu to scroll through. It’s tedious if using a lot of decimal points or other special characters. It does have a lot of built-in icons, Greek symbols, arrows, etc. Since the app is available this limitation isn’t serious.Printing is fairly quick. Cutter works well. Text is dark and doesn’t come off even with fingernail. Uses standard Dymo D1 label tape. Having used many roll-based label printers, I like the ease of cassettes. They protect the labels and pop in and out quickly.Print Master (Phomemo) app is OK and does not require an account or Internet to print. Has many options for text (size, font, style, spacing). Supports icons, pictures, and barcodes (fixed content, no automatic increment). For some things like adjusting font size, app takes a second or two to update.
