Holds My Phone In Place And Leaves A Small Footprint
I have a distaste for monstrous phone mounts in cars. Ones that sit on dashes and have a suction cubs and adjustable mounts. I prefer something with a small footprint that is unnoticeable and gets the same exact results.This fits snugly and securely in my driver side AC vent in my Prius. Less than 15 second setup time and I had my phone locked in, easily removable and replaceable with a single hand. I even do it while driving….but don’t quote me on that.Nice product. Great price. Does the job and looks nice.

Good quality, orientation adjustment and price
Pros:1. Sturdy grip on vent port – Image you are making turns and the centrifugal force let your mount with your phone flying off, which was the case with a Walmart bought car mount costing me nearly $15. It is not the cast for this one. The grip is exceptionally firm, and better yet it is easy to grab on and off vent port and change its position with your hand.2. Sturdy grip on phone with effortlesschanging between landscape and portrait orientation – You can easily use one hand to mount and unmount your phone.3. Price – Very cheap for the great functionality as I pointed out in the first two points.Cons:1. Lack rotation change – Here I mean it only has one axis of rotation (between landscape and portrait orientation), unlike some other mounts that offer more rotation freedom. It cannot side rotation (ex. while your phone is in portrait mode, it cannot rotate side way so it is face more to you that to the middle or to the front seat passenger). This can be an issue if you want to dodge the sunlight reflection from your phone.2. Could be too close to vent port and your phone blocks some of the car panel – At least for my car vent port, after mounting my phone, the portrait mode could block some of the switches on my car panel. If it has longer rotation axis and let the phone to “float” a bit away from the panel it would not have blocked those buttons. However, it might not be the problem to other cars since every car has different panel layout.Overall I like the cheap price, sturdy grip and dummy proof installation (just press into vent port and go). Only point I took away is it only provide one rotation axis.

I have bought this brand /from this seller before for their older model cell phone car holder and I loved it. I even gave it out as little gifts any chance I could because I was so happy with the quality. This one surpasses that, if even possible (thatâs how much I liked that phone holder!).The reason why I bought this model is because I have a thick case (and a collapsible pop socket on the back of it) and the older model wouldnât hold my phone with all the extra thickness added to it (the retractable âclamp armsâ were not wide/deep enough to hold my bulky phone since that one has a backing and this one is just a bar across for the âarmsâ and doesnât have a full back piece. Awesome! I am able to have my sturdy, rugged, shockproof case WITH my pop socket and it fits perfectly without falling down! I put my pop socket on the lower back of my phone and not in the middle (just for comfort and convenience) so I secure / clamp my phone in the mount on the upper half of my phone so itâs not too big.My phone hasnât dropped once and it feels like good quality materials – I get it, itâs plastic, but it doesnât feel cheap to where Iâm afraid if I go over a pot hole itâll break apart. Not flimsy.It is so hard to find a GOOD car mount holder with the GOOD air vent holders. I saw so many during my search that have one little arm that has a curved end and itâs supposed to just âhang outâ on the vent and not fall. I wanted a mount that would stick in to my vents and STAY THERE. I guess itâs just personal preference but I donât want any adhesive sticking to my dashboard or anything – the vent clips work perfectly for me and are easy to remove and install. There are little rubber âgripsâ on the end that go in the vent to help secure it. AWESOME! LOVE IT!Even my husband, who never uses a mount, said to me today, âThis thing is cool! Way better than your old one! Itâs legit.â Husband approved, so I will order him one now, too.Honestly 10/10 I highly recommend this. The price point is so reasonable and itâll do the job. Buy it.
