Customers say
Customers find the flash memory easy to install and a good value for the price. They appreciate the navigation software and directions that are more descriptive than Google Maps. However, some customers have issues with the maps not being up-to-date and the information display restarting.

Worth every penny
I drive a 2016 Mazda 3 and have never had navigation in the car, until now. I found this SD card and decided to give it a shot. It was super easy to set up – just pop it in, turn on the car, and it boots right up. After about a minute of driving to calibrate, it worked perfectly. The maps are a bit outdated, but honestly, itâs just nice to have some sort of maps running while cruising around. For the price, it is totally worth it. Will still probably use my phone for actual navigation but still a great addition to the car.

Screw the dealer!
2018 MX5 Brembo Club. I bought the Miata used, one year ago. It only had 15K on the clock (leased vehicle). For 2 months, the Nav system worked fine, then…nothing. The system told me that Nav was not installed! Took it to the local Mazda dealer and had it checked. Was told “..the contacts and wiring are fried and burnt, so we’ll have to replace the entire Infotainment system—for $1500”. Yeah…no. Radio and all else was fine, so, screw it.Found this card here on Amazon, said to myself, not a lot to lose, so why not? Car off, pull the old card, insert the new, fire up the engine, hit the Nav button, cross my fingers and……..it’s good again! Burnt wires, my butt!I haven’t drive tested it yet (just put it in 3 hours ago), but the Nav already locked onto my location in the garage. The map doesn’t look like the factory, but it is accurate for my area. I only regret I cannot change the Icon!**EDIT**Okay, highway tested—-and it’s great! While the map is somewhat dated, as other have said, it’s still timed perfectly with up to 13 satellites connected. I set my home address before leaving, and when I was over 30 miles away, asked for directions home. The infotainment system colludes with the card program, and all functions operate just as correctly and smoothly as factory settings. The ONLY difference between this card and the factory is…. I still cannot change the icon!

Works perfect!
(2017 Mazda 3} For over 1 year now my navigation card has not been working correctly. At first it would start to buffer when it was cold for a few minutes, then it started to buffer for longer times. Then it would do it when it was hot out. It finally got to the point where it wouldn’t stop buffering. I finally decided to go to the Mazda dealer and get it fixed. $400.00 plus installation charges. What is installation???, pushing a SD card into a slot. I found this SD card on Amazon, but was skeptical whether it would really work. I popped the old card out and put the new one in and OMG it works perfectly, like when the car was bran new! I saved $400. plus $100.-$150. for the 20 second installation. VERY HAPPY!!!

Invalid Card Not Recognized
They sent a 32gb microSD card, not a full-size sdhc card, so I needed to use an adapter to make it fit the car system. Unfortunately, this card did not work. It says “Invalid Card Not Recognized”.

Replacing the Navigation Card stopped my head unit from constantly rebooting
Rarely used before buying this SD card because I have a tablet with a lifelong map upgrade app installed. Similarly the 2017 Mazda MX-5 Head unit has no capability of downloading real-time traffic info. However replacing the card returned not only navigation but cured my re-booting problem. Initially the display worked but only showed some static unknown area. Going to GPS set-up and picking INfO showed 5 identified satellites ( in red color ). Driving around the local streets still showed zero satellites acquired. Only with more time and highway driving, green bars and full function was achieved. Now it starts functioning rather quickly. The Maps are not 2024 but intersections are upgraded vs 2017, maybe 2021?

Works great! Donât buy from the dealer!
The Mazda dealership quoted me $400 for a new SD card when mine stopped working. I am so glad I decided to search on my own! Works great. No download. Just plug and drive!

Works Great, saved me $400
I read the reviews on all of these SD cards for sale on Amazon for my car (2016 Mazda CX-5 Touring) and saw some bad ones, this one from this seller had the most 5 star reviews as well as I saw a great review who had my same vehicle so I rolled the dice and so glad I did. Mazda wanted $300 for the card and even more to “install” it (ridiculous). I had my car off, put the sd card in the slot, it clicked right in then I turned on my car then went to the navigation, it loaded (took maybe 30 seconds) then came right up. Check out the video it works perfectly with all the features too. Thank you to the seller for selling what it says it is supposed to be. I suggest you try this out, make sure you get the right card for your car!

Fixed CX-5 Connect1 NAV rebooting problem
Perfect! Plug ân Play. Map loaded immediately. AND, all my previous favorites still available. I have a Mazda CX-5 2016 Grand Touring with the Connect 1 NAV system. Each SD card is specific to the Connect system (and display size) it supports. I was never totally confident that I was looking at a new SD card compatible with my car, until I found this one, which specifically stated compatibility for 2016-2020 only. (The Connect 2 came on a CX-5 in years 2021-2024) I purchased my car in 2019, and the NAV system never worked properly. For a few years it would not load until 45+ minutes down the road, when it had warmed up. The past few years, it would not load at all, but just continually rebooted. I was almost ready to dish out the $400 at the dealer for a working system. I donât know how old the maps on this SD card are, but I donât care. I now have a working system. Moreover, I donât care that its maps are not âupdateableâ. For this price, I can purchase a newer one in a few years if I need it.
