The SmartlockPro Self-Test GFCI Combination Type A USB In-Wall Charger offers the trusted safety of Leviton GFCI protection with the advantage of powerful USB charging for Code-compliant use in kitchens, bathrooms, or anywhere GFCI protection is required. Engineered to meet the latest UL standard for auto-monitoring (self-test), Leviton GFCIs periodically conducts an automatic internal test to confirm that protected power is available. If the GFCI detects a problem, 1 or more of the following will occur: power will be denied (trip with the inability to reset), trip with the ability to reset, subject to the next auto-monitoring test cycle or repeatedly trip, or visual and/or audible indication. For additional safety, the device outlets feature tamper-resistant shutters that meet NE 406.12 requirements by blocking access to the contacts unless a 2 or 3 prong plug is inserted. Works as advertised, beware of lack of faceplate
This works as advertised, charges both devices via USB-c with no issues. Easy to install although it doesnât come with a faceplate. It was a minor annoyance as the faceplate for the earlier socket screwed into the socket at the middle.

Easy to install, effective
Just what the headline says – easy to install and does what it is designed to do effectively. This outlet won’t supply PD levels of power, but Leviton makes other outlets that will if you need that. I use it to charge my razor, watch, and other devices that don’t need or use high-speed charging.In some cases I will use unfamiliar brands, but household wiring (outlets, switches, etc) is not one of them. I go with brands I trust because I don’t want to have to do the job twice. Leviton is one of those brands.

Replaced bad GFCI with this
My husband had to replace one of the GFCI outlets and picked this one. He said it was easy to install, size is right for our outlet, no noise, the color is nice normal white, and I recommend GFCI because it enhances safety. I love the double USB charging ports, what a bonus! This outlet is in the kitchen, so Iâm able to charge my phone while washing dishes and watching Netflix.

Works as advertised
I have wanted to replace my USB-A outlets with the latest standard of USB-C. This product does not disappoint. It is quite large as are most USB outlets – so expect a tight fit into a single-gang box. It has charged everything that I have thrown at it – and it seems to charge pretty quickly for devices that are known to support faster charging. I am happy with my purchase!

The Leviton T5634-W 60W (20V@2.5A+ 5V@2A) USB Dual Type A/Type-C Power Delivery in-Wall type is a good product and works as advertised but is quite difficult to fit in a typical outlet box and will require careful routing of the power supply wires to fit.
