My smart LED recessed lights.
I like these LED smart recessed lights because the lights came with a junction box, making it easy to connect them to my existing electrical system. Additionally, the canless design eliminates the need for bulky recessed cans, which gives my entire room a cool and modern look.Furthermore, these lights can change colors, I just had to download the Lumary app on my iPhone and pair these lights via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, then I am able to customize these lights anytime according to my mood or just to set the vibe in different occasions.Whether I want a warm and cozy ambiance or a vibrant and colorful atmosphere in my room, these smart lights can even change colors according to the music or change colors if I am watching a movie or game, with the vibrations they keep changing colors.Additionally, these lights are compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, and I can simply use my voice to control these lights and adjust their brightness, change their colors, or turn the lights on/off. I found it super cool and very convenient since these lights added a whole new level of smart functionality to my home.In terms of performance, I personally think these lights are outstanding. With a power output of 13W and a brightness level of 1100 lumens, these lights can go from white to purple, then I can change them to blue or green, and increase or decrease the tone of green, pink, purple, blue and make my entire room glow.And since they are LED lights, I do not regret buying them and I personally believe they will last a long time. Definitly a chinese product
These lights lean heavily on never turning off the light switch, and using 2.4 GHz wifi to control the lights. The app is ok, you can mange devices, and things make some sense, but you cant program the devices with a specific color profile like 2700k. You can ask google for “soft white” but whats that? The advertisement specificly mentions color temps, but these are no where to be dound in the app. The selector for white is a weird color wheel with just 2 colors??, but should just be a simple slider. groups are hard to find, and adjusting rooms after the device is already added requires you forget the device and re-add from scratch.I have created groups to manage my lights which is nice, they are all the same color and brightness. Although one of my light groups completely forgot its configuration when i used the light switch to turn off the lights. I cant tell, but it seems like the support FAQ recommends never turning off the light switch, i cant tell.Things that are useful- brightness, I replaced 1800 lumen CFL lights with these 1100 lumen leds, the light is comparable- almost 0 heat out out by these- being able to control color OR white temp- schedule a device to turn on/off- grouping lights, although very weird to setup, these are not the same as rooms btwThings that are NOT useful- i was shipped an opened and returned box of 4, that was clearly a return and incomplete- being told to never turn off the light switch to ensure that the lights dont lose their settings- Temp selection “wheel”, it would benefit from a white temp indicator, not a % of an unknown slider 0 being yellow and 100 being bright blue/white. The vertical aspect of the color wheel is completely pointless- color change to music… its so slow and doesn’t really even go with music, seems more random, not a useful feature.- support, i have no idea what they are saying, are they being rude/dismissive/helpful i cant tell the language barrier is massive. I feel like they told me it was their app and they will do what they want when i suggested that a number indicator for color temp would be desirable.- support… they recommend turning off 5GHz!!?!? they say to move your AP to 1-3 meters of device that’s not happening for a smart house.- feels like a Chinese knock off of another smart light… They desperately need a proof reader for all english writing across the board.Ediy 3/26/2022Lights will forget their settings and come up by default flashing 100 percent bright white until programed again. I have 8 lights in use and it happens once a week. The smart light feature is 100 percent worthless. Waste of money.
