For me this was a game changer in my amateur fm/web studio. Crystal clear sound. Quality materials. Boom arm helped with unwanted bump sounds from desk and it gave me more space to work.

Great Value Until it Wasn’t [Updated]
Originally, this seemed like a great “Why not?” purchase, because if it did not work I was not out that much money and at least had a decent boom arm with pop-filter.Well, after two or three days the mic crapped out. I plugged it into the Zoom H6, I have phantom power turned on, and when I plugged it in I heard a loud noise and then silence.The actual quality of the mic was not bad for this price point, especially if you used it in a treated space or a closet full of clothes.As for the construction quality of the boom arm and pop-filter are good, not amazing, but I am pleased for what I paid. If the mic did not crap out after a few days I would have given this 4 stars, maybe even 5 because of the value. Not sure what else to say! I wish it did still worked!**UPDATED**Just a few hours after writing this, using the exact same setup, the mic started working to the same quality as it did prior. After this, I increased my review from 2 to 4 stars, because (1) for a cheap mic it sounds good, (2) while I would not rely on this as your sole mic it is a good addition for budding podcasters/vloggers, and (3) eh… “why not?”

Stand fell apart and mic didn’t work
I was excited to get this as it was really needed. I wanted to use it to record as well as teach my high school band and choir classes. I didn’t get to open the box for a few weeks. When I did it looked great in the box. I set it up to record using an interface. It kept slipping down no matter how I put it and didn’t want to stay clamped to the table. I made the adjustment since it was not co-operating which put me in an uncomfortable position. Then the mic didn’t work. I even tried a different cord that I knew worked. Nothing. Just to double check I tried a mic I have and it worked fine. Then the little clamp on the bottom came loose and fell apart and I had to catch everything in mid air.So disappointed and such a waste of money that I don’t have to waste.

Im not an expert on mics or anything, but the sound quality seems good. No stereo output of course, but the highends sound crisp and it captures the lows pretty well too. Looks pretty proffesional if you only care about the looks of it. Nice and cheap tho! 7 out of 10
