Battery Stucks
I bought this on Nov 29th it is Jan 3 and for the last week or so the battery in the right controller is already bad. I thought I didn’t charge it but then on the charger everything is green. Then when I go to turn it on nothing. So either my chasing dock is bad or the battery is bad. Either way it’s not working.

Bit pricey, doesn’t come with adapter
The controllers seat very naturally to the charging station and the lights indicate when they’re done charging. It plays a soft tone when they are placed to indicate they’re charging. The headset plug is straightforward.A thing to note is the bottom configuration feels a little rough on the wires by forcing them to bend a lot and could probably be done a bit better, but I have them positioned where I don’t feel it’s straining the wire with an odd bend and feel comfortable.I took off a star because it doesn’t come with a wall adapter, expecting you to use the one that came with the Quest 3. I feel that hurts the value by encouraging customers to buy 3rd party adapters that could jeopardize the safety of the device. I also feel it’s a little predatory.

Controllers Consistently Disconnect
For being a Meta product, this should work perfectly. However the rechargeable batteries included cause the controllers to consistently disconnect while playing. It only lasts a couple seconds and then they reconnect, but a few seconds is all it takes to potentially ruin the game you’re playing. I ended up returning these and bought Energizer rechargeable AA’s with the wall charger and have had no issues. It’ll be slightly annoying to take the batteries out to charge them, but still better than having to constantly buy and replace regular batteries or deal with disconnecting controllers.Save your money here, this isn’t worth the hassle.

Game changer
Changing out batteries can be a real pain. This, along with the right kind of strap, is very much worth the investment for me. My controllers are always charged AND I know where they are!

Annoyance outweighs the benefits
A rechargeable battery should be standard for the controllers and while this implementation of that is clever itâs filled with annoyances that I wish were more prevalent before I bought it. Each controller stand has a light to represent it on the base. That within itself isnât necessarily bad thing since it shows charge state. But the fact that it chimes every time you put the controller back on is freaking annoying just like not being able to turn off these lights. The keyboard is connected the headset is short so short that youâre going to want to replace it with a longer cable if you happen to use a stand for your headset otherwise youâre stuck for your headset on the table exposed next to it another option is a 3-D print where you can put your headset under the stand. Itâs like charging. The headset was an afterthought which might be the case since the routing for the cable under the stand really waste cable.

these are not good at all the rechargeable batteries cause the controllers to only respond to the meta button. the only reason it’s not 1 star is the extra long cable. returning this immediately

I’ve been after something official for rechargeable batteries for ages for my Q3 as I was sick and tired changing battery every few weeks.I’ve already got a boboVR head strap and battery packs for that so the controller was the next logical area to sort.The controllers fit perfectly (just remember triggers INWARDS) or you will just get flashing orange lights ðNot sure how long it takes to charge from new but so far I’m happy… ohh and the wire it says to use to charge the quest also charges my boboVR newest generation battery so that’s a bonus.£60 is a little expensive for what it is but go for it

Ich habe diese Ladestation für die Meta Quest 3/S, welche wir meinem Sohn zu Weihnachten schenke, gekauft. Sie tut was sie soll und lädt das VR Headset und die Controller gut auf.Einziges Manko gegenüber meiner “normalen” Ladestation für meine Meta Quest 3 ist, dass der Ladestrom durch die Mini Ladeschale für die Controller durchgeschliffen wird um dann in dem VR Headset anzukommen. Also liegt das Headset einfach so rum. Wen das nicht stört, der ist mit der Kompakten Ladestation gut bedient. Denn Technisch gibt es daran nichts auszusetzen.
