Really Happy with this stand.
I needed a mic stand that can support 2 mics, and can quickly and easily moved from seated to standing positions. This works perfectly. The stand base is perfectly designed to hold the weight. The boom arm design could be built more heavy duty, but for the price point I am extremely happy. The boom keeps my microphones at the same angle from sitting to standing position! That was an amazing surprise. It would be great if the company would offer this in it’s current build and then one that has heavier materials with more solid tightener for the lock. And added cable routing. I’d be happy to pay double for the quality. At this price I will be happy if it holds up for a year or two. Setup was simple. The design is flawless.

No sagging or movement. Works well with Blue Yeti.
The mic stand has reliably been holding onto my Blue Yeti for a few months now. Anyone who owns a Yeti knows it is HEAVY and this mic stand is doing an excellent job holding it. The base could be a little longer, but that is not what I would consider a design flaw so no stars removed. I do have one of my hand weights on the base because I have the stand leaning pretty far forward and it was leaning a little bit. Easy and barely noticeable.

Bought to work with a BluYeti
Works as intended. Have to tweak it a little to get the mic secure and be able to insert the cables into the bottom of the mic. Once you do itâs stable and adjust easy. Easily modified height. Just leave out a section. Would purchase again.

Simple, No Frills Mic Stand
Saw a review saying the mic clip doesn’t work with Yeti mics. And they are correct. It doesn’t. That’s why it comes with an adapter and instructions.Anyway, putting this together was straight forward and took less than 5 minutes. The base has a nice weight but the whole thing can still be tipped over with some force. Honestly not a problem if you’re not leaning or tackling the thing.Tested the stand with two of my mics, the Blue Yeti and my Trust mics. Was I nervous suspending my not-so cheap mics 4 feet off the floor? Yes! Did the mic stand hold the mics? Yep! Do I like setting up the pop filter? Nope but to be fair, I’m an amateur and still learning the best ways to set up other accessories. If you’re looking for a decent mic stand for your usb mic, I recommend this one.

Good mic stand but be weary about heavier mics (like the blue yeti)
I have the original heavy/clunk blue yeti that weighs quite a bit. When I am not using my mic I will turn it away so that it is facing away from the side of my desk. I have found that the base plate that the mic stand has is not heavy enough to offset the weight of the mic I own when doing this and it will tip over. I have solved this problem by sliding the baseplate under one of the legs of my desk so that it is no longer able to fall over when doing this. Will keep the five stars since it was such an easy fix. Just be weary if you have a heavy mic so that it doesn’t fall over and bust a hole in your wall like it’s trying out to be the koolaid man.

Perfect solution if you have no space for either a desk mount or a floor mount with a large base
I had a difficult situation where I needed a mic arm, but my desk was too thick for the traditional clamp. I considered mounting the arm into the desk or wall, but I was afraid of messing it up and I have no drill. I had also found a different floor stand, but the base was too wide and would’ve gotten in the way of my door. This however, solved all of those issues by having the base hide mostly under my desk. It’s still sturdy enough to hold my Blue Yeti X off to the side without falling. The only issue I had was while moving the arm, the stand teeter-tottered a bit. I put some extra weight onto the base, and now I can move the arm without any issues at all. Definitely recommend to anyone having similar issues as me, surprised that this only seems to have Vine reviews.

Sturdy and fits in tight space
The flat heavy base makes it easy to fit in a tight space and combined with the tube post, it is quite stabile. It’s well worth the price, and fits my needs perfectly.

Pretty Good
Works well with lighter mics. Using something like an SM7B still makes it tip a little if youâre not careful. Iâm not using the final height extension and it still tips every once in a while if not positioned just right.

The floor stand/boom arm works wonderfully with my mic. and is proving to be invaluable for producing an audiobook of my sci-fi novels. It works as advertised and provides excellent value for the cost.

The Oimlfus Floor Mic Stand is a notable addition to any recording setup. Its compatibility with popular microphones like the Blue Yeti, Snowball, HyperX QuadCast, and Shure SM7B, to name a few, makes it a versatile choice for different recording needs. One of the stand’s strengths lies in its adjustability. The boom arm allows for easy positioning, ensuring you can capture sound at the right angle and distance. The inclusion of both 3/8″ to 5/8″ and 1/4″ screws adds to its adaptability, making it suitable for a wide range of microphones. The build quality is impressive – it feels sturdy and stable, which is crucial when youâre using more expensive microphones. The added pop filter and mic clip are convenient bonuses, providing further value to this package. However, I would have appreciated a bit more weight in the base for added stability, especially when fully extended. But this is a minor gripe in what is otherwise a highly functional and reliable product. In summary, the Oimlfus Floor Mic Stand strikes a good balance between versatility, quality, and affordability. Whether for podcasting, streaming, or music recording, it’s a solid choice that won’t disappoint.
