Awesome game system and emulator
This unit is extremely high quality. All the buttons feel great and responsive. The screen is bright and high resolution. Battery life has been nice and long. The included software is intuitive and responsive. There are plenty of settings to adjust how you want. And you can even install your own software if desired. The possibilities are endless.There are so many games already available out of the box from your favorite retro consoles and more. Overall, this handheld game system operates really smoothly and I definitely recommend. This is extremely good value for the money.

Excellent retro handheld!
Owned for about 3 months now. I have installed Onion OS, makes the device much better.One important point to make; youâll need a quality micro SD card for storage at the minimum.The Onion OS is nice to have but not necessary fyi.That aside, the build quality is very nice, doesnât feel like junk plastic.The buttons are very nice and smooth. Tactile but not in the way a cheap switch would feel.The cpu handles up to ps1 games very well, have yet to run into issues or bugs. Performance is perfect for the systems emulated.No issues with bugs or glitches, everything has been working perfectly, so far.Canât comment on durability as I baby the device as much as possible, but it has held up being carried every day in its case in and out of work no problem.There are upgrades one can do such as upgrading the speaker and buttons (see Etsy) but I have not felt the need.It may just be a personal thing, but I feel like the cheap speaker in the device works well with the retro theme itâs going for.Battery life is excellent, Iâve been able to game on it, on a slow day at work, for a good 6-8 hours, depending on screen brightness and sound levels.The display is beautiful by the way. crisp colors and refresh rate is perfect, again, for the use.Great price for what you pay, especially once youâve done a custom OS and the Tiny Best Set Rom pack to go with the new SD card.Fwiw, Onion OS also has retro achievements, multiplayer, and custom themes to name a few things.Worth buying as is, worth the time to upgrade.

Received Broken!
Unfortunately the product was received smashed! Even though the box had damage, and even though the system was shipped in a protective case, the system was smashed enough to damage the d-pad, the uSB-C port, the headphone jack, and possibly even the SD card slot! Itâs useless now. This is super disappointing since I was looking forward to using the gaming system today 🙁

I loved the color of the console and every detail they put into it and the console when playing is excellent and the buttons feel very good, the screen quality is very nice and high quality The playing time is good and the battery lasts very long

I’ve tried nearly every retro handheld on Amazon under $200.00They all have their shortcomings and strengths.Overall the Miyoo Mini PLUS is the best device when paired with Onion OS and here’s why:IT WORKS THE WAY YOU WOULD EXPECT A MODERN ELECTRONIC DEVICE TO OPERATE!You want to shut off the device without going through a multiple step shut down process?Done.You want to be able to stop and start any game you’re playing at a moments notice because you’re an adult and have to stop playing games to do adult things at a moments notice?Done.You want excellent build qualit that you can feel in the hands?Done.You want that weird (indescribable) feeling of nostaliga mixed with modern and hope it scratches that weird itch you have for games from when you were a kid + your love for gadgets?SUPER Done!As long as you’re happy playing games nearly flawlessly and all the way up to PS1 generation or lower (Sega Saturn and N64 not included), then this is for you!That is my only complaint BTW, is that as a kid of the 80’s who had all of the consoles in the 90’s (including the Sega Saturn), that this unit won’t emulate Sega Saturn. My fondest gaming memories game from the games I play on my Sega Saturn.I wish, hope and pray that the engineers at Miyoo make a sequal to the Miyoo Mini+ and that it’s successor is about the physical size of an RG405V, but with Miyoo’s build quality and compatibility with Onion OS.I cannot stress to you enough that the MAGIC BEHIND THIS DEVICE AND IT’S TRUE FEATURES IS DIRECTLY DUE TO ONION OS!The stock software (as with all of the retro handhelds) is “meh” at best. Onion OS gives this device and usability and features YOU ARE EXPECTING, but are not present in the stock software.Miyoo needs to ABANDON their own software and work directly with the developers of Onion OS to ensure the best possible experience and to make sure that their future devices are compatible with it!If anyone at Miyoo is reading this, please accept the following suggestion!Please make a “family” of devices that range from the original Miyoo mini as the most portable and modest of the bunch, followed by the current Miyoo Mini+, which balances size and portability and then add to that family a Miyoo Mini++ or whatever you want to call it, that would be a bigger unit with a processor powerful enough to emulate ALL consoles that had a native 4:3 aspect ratio of their day (including Sega Saturn). A Unisoc Tiger 618 should be able to emulate most of those consoles and is widely available and supported as a chipset.With those three devices released in vertcal and horizonatal form factors and complete compatibility with Onion OS, none of Miyoo’s competitors would be able to touch them.

Great emulator!
This is such a fun device! I was a little nervous about it at first, but it turned out really amazing. There are thousands of games pre-installed on the device already which makes it super easy to start playing right away. The case it came with is really nice and easy to use. The battery doesn’t have a super long life but it will last for quite a few hours. It is super easy to charge though so it doesn’t really bother me. I do wish the screen protector was a better size fit because it didn’t fully cover to the edge of the screen. It covers enough though so not a huge deal. I have really been enjoying playing the games from my childhood. I would definitely recommend!

Best gaming system I bought in a long time
The price is very reasonable and you get a lot of games with this device. The battery life last a long time and can play for hours. It is super fun to play old school games with new school games as well. The small hand held device fits perfectly and doesnât hurt my hands playing for long hours.
