    Perfect for longer runs.
Great cable! It’s optional so made for longer runs with no signal loss.

No Warranty Support Resolution – Not a Recommended Brand –
Warranty Support Seems Non Exsistent due to no results. Unable to locate anyone to honor or even communicate about the warranty behind a run around. Tried messaging through the website and via multiple different emails and through the seller with essentially zero results. Customer support has been of no significant support and seem to have no interest in honoring the supposed lifetime warranty. I guess they are really going for their logo Monster in their support? I sold their products for years and this is how they repay me. I have had issues in the past and would no longer recommend their products.

    There’s a lot to think about here…
Okay I’ll start with this, I’m not a professional cable reviewer with all the necessary equipment to test and determine how much better this is compared to others. But what I do know is what quality looks like compared to others. This cable is the nicest cable I’ve ever held. Yes it comes with a price tag but they do offer a lifetime warranty that’s truly guaranteed for life so think of it as a one time investment if that helps.I could see it being amazing with 8k video and high end audio systems. It’ll withstand a lot of abuse as well if you plan to be moving it around alot. The metal connectors have some weight to them so you know they’ll hold up. As well as the gold connectors. But that being said they are good and we all know gold is soft so overtime and movement or vibration may cause them to wear down, but…that’s where the lifetime warranty comes into play. For most these cables will be an unnecessary expenditure and that’s totally fair, but those looking for premium high end components well then look no further. I was looking around to see various prices and it’s honestly hard to tell the difference from the m3000 for $70 and this one at almost $300 so that’s where I get curious. If there’s a major difference then show it in a chart or something because I read through multiple listings and I couldn’t tell what made this one worth so much more.. but in the end it’s a very nice cable with a very nice warranty. For now 3 stars because the pricing makes little to no sense from my research. I will update if I figure out what the difference is.

    Actually Does What it Says
Monster cables were dominant in the enthusiast space during the analog video days, where a heavy shielded cable made a big difference. Then, HDMI happened and any cable was the same. We are back in the era of cables making a dramatic difference, with so many not properly supporting modern video modes (resolution, color depth, frequency), even when they say that they do. This cable is very well built and actually supports the HDMI 2.1 spec. I have had many other brands be “HDMI 2.1” and yet fail to show the modes I know my monitor supports. As with other long run HDMI/DisplayPort cables for modern specifications, this is optical and that means it is directional and more fragile than standard wire. I will update this review if I have any issues with the cable failing with normal careful use. Otherwise, I can recommend it highly.

Excellent quality as always with Monster
Years ago I worked selling electronics and Monster was THE brand for high quality interconnects. This was in a mostly analog world where noise has a huge effect on sound and video quality. In a digital world, this is less apparent too most people. With digital, you end up with less odd digital artifacts or worse, unexplained dropped connections because of a bad handshake with a low quality cable. This cable deserves to be proudly on display based on it’s excellent build quality but unfortunately is hidden away in my AV closet doing an amazing job as the primary E-ARC cable between my Samsung 85″ 8k and my Denon AVR-X6500H.

    Great hdmi cable
Got this hdmi cable to throw in the travel case for the PS4. Monster makes really great quality cables, and this is no different. I’m a big fan of the gold connectors and knit wire covering–both are evidence of quality construction and durability. I’ve only used this for 1080p TVs, so I don’t have any comments about 4K appearance. But it’s doing its job really well on all of the TV sets I’ve tried it on.

    It’s MONSTER!!!
Those complaining about the price have not paid double or triple for an Audioquest cable lately. This is a well made impressive cable. I have used many and this one is right up there with my most expensive. For long runs this is a bargain… For both 4K and sending 8K from my MadVR Envy!
