WE ARE
A home audio company who understands that good audio equipment doesn’t necessarily have to cost an arm and a leg.
Founded in 2003 by a group of audiophiles who understood that good audio products didn’t necessarily have to cost an arm and a leg. We started with a small line of outdoor rock speakers that immediately gained attention. OSD has maintained the core values that allowed us to grow from each of those aforementioned categories: Solid build quality, nice levels of performance, and good overall value.

OUTDOOR: This OSD Audio Weatherproof In-Ceiling Speaker is perfect for high humidity areas such as bathrooms and outdoor patios. Enjoy music from your sound system either outside or indoors.
HIGH POWER: Quality 150 Watt sound coverage comes from the 8 inch fiberglass woofer 1 inch and pivoting titanium tweeter for this weather resistant speaker to be high power handling.
IN-CEILING: This ICE640WRS speaker gets installed in the ceiling to fill every corner of your house, including covered porches. Your favorite audio entertainment can power the smallest to the largest room.
DESIGN: The design is low-profile to be less intrusive in rooms with low ceilings. Santoprene surround withstands extreme temperatures to keep the speaker from hardening or cracking to last longer.
CABLE: To go with this weatherproof speaker, we recommend purchasing our CL-3 in-wall rated speaker wire designed to run inside walls and is fire-retardant safe within crawl spaces or wall cavities.

Good Performance for an amazing Price point!
I purchased these in wall Speakers to mount in the Ceiling for my Home Theatre -Projector Set up to go with my Denon 5.1 System. The speakers perform well – in the limited use – about 2 weeks and installation was easy. I expect them to last based on the other reviews I read about them. And they were very inexpensive as well – $98 for 4 speakers – Amazon had a deal!

Excellent outdoor 6.5″ speaker
The quality and sound were what I was looking for. I also purchased this companies “rock” speakers and garden subwoofer. All good value

Great valve! Sounds awesome
They sound awesome! I only have my amp pushing 1/2 volume and I think they are great for the average person just wanting to listen to music thru the house. I put 1 speaker in all the rooms of the house and hallways. Perfect!

Overall sound poor
We tested the speaker in a outdoor enclosure and a three foot overhang on a house. In both cases the sound was boomy in the upper bass and lower mid range and the tweeter was on the tinny side. This speaker needs a more elaborate crossover to filter out these problems The instructions it came with showed two adjustment switches for lows and highs but they didn’t exist on the speaker !!Build quality was fairly good.

Great sound at a great price
Bought this to replace a 10 year old Parasound C65 that went bad. At $70 for a pair, I didnât expect much from the OSD compared to the $350/pr Parasounds. But I thought I might scavenge the OSD for parts to make the Parasound work again. Got lazy/busy and just removed the Parasound altogether and installed OSD, which was a perfect fit. Much to my surprise, the OSD sounded just as good as the Parasound! This is a great in-ceiling speaker for a fantastic price!

Easy installation, good – but not great – sound
Ordered these to put in the ceiling of our outdoor covered deck. Well-packaged. Installation was pretty easy. Only challenge is removing the grill cover without damaging it. I was successful using a fine-tip screwdriver to work out one side, then another, then it came out easily. The cover re-installed easily once the speakers were mounted.PERFORMANCE: I’m driving these as Zone 2 from my high-end Yamaha receiver. Sound is pretty good — but not great. The bass is good, mid-range is OK, but the highs are just a little tinny. This becomes more noticeable at higher volume levels.CONCLUSION: For the price, I consider these a good value. If I were doing it again, I’d consider higher-end speakers for better sound reproduction.

Great price and they sound amazing
Great price and they sound amazing! Lots of bass which I like in a speaker, so they are perfect for our back porch. The only criticism that I have is that the instructions are not very good for installation and you will need to find a way to take off the speaker cover (white screen) in order to be able to install it. I used a small screwdriver to fit in between the screen and the speaker plate

Speaker sounds great. Have it hooked up to a monprice speaker selector and Yamaha receiver. I installed the speaker in my soffit outside on my balcony. The music sounds great for our morning coffee and newspaper reading.

Used in our ensuite. Great sound, well made.

The bass is Crazy for a ceiling unit! I isolated my ceiling with Roxul all around so I dont know if this helps but they sound amazing

Used these in my bathroom and mounted them in the ceiling, so far so good, sound is good. not a lot of bass but that is expected with the 6.5 inch speaker

Easy to install, good sound and great value for money. Found it perfect for my shower. Installed a stereo source and did not want to waste a channel. Ordered another brand first, but it just ever shipped. Cancelled the order and purchased this speaker and had it a week later.
