Too easy!
This product was extremely easy to use and set up. Plugged into the vehicle, connected my phone and it worked great. Verified to work with Ford F-150 and GMC 2500 HD. Have not used streaming stick yet, but it will make the use even better and not tie up the phone. Almost gave in and got a much more expensive unit, glad that I did not – the Ottocast is perfect.

Works for me so far. I noticed some audio sync issues at first. I decided to do a firmware update and it fixed the problem. A bit laggy with certain apps but Iâm very impressed to have video play on my car screen. It works half the time
Although inconsistent, the product works. I have a toyota corolla xse hybrid 2025, and this product bypasses the Apple Carplay function of my car and opens a new input, letting me screen share my phone screen to the car’s Carplay. However, this function rarely works. Most of the time its in a blank screen, or the product will disconnect from my phone and stay like that until further torubleshooting, and even then it’s still inconsistent.

The first one i ordered connected immediately and worked great with one fault…the audio sync is way off of the video. Support sent me a link to update the software, which i did, and completely bricked the unit. I returned it and bought another. Same exact issue. Connects easily and works well except for the audio is several seconds off of the video. Very irritating to watch a program with the voice so far off of the video.

Excellent product, does what it says! Simple Plug in Play (to USB A port or use the USB C adapter it comes with). I bought this device along with a Firestick Lite and my screen literally acts like a TV (your vehicle HAS TO HAVE CarPlay in order for this device to work). Using the hotspot on my phone, the CarPlay detects the device + Firestick and I am able to use all the apps off my Firestick as if it were connected to my TV. No lag or anything and the video & sound quality is great, still plays videos while the vehicle is in motion. So now I can watch my sports via YouTube TV app on the go or any other app in general. I even bought a 3ft USB C to HDMI cable to connect my iPad mini / iPhone to it and play COD Mobile off of it with my bootleg PS4 controller. A definitely must have for any vehicle with CarPlay.
