Writes very nicely but the barbell is a little too slick
The pen feels nice in the hand. Itâs a decent weight. Itâs a little thick but not bad and itâs pretty slick. The grip part is not very knurled. I prefer an actual knurled grip like a Zebra G750 or F701.

Literally my favorite pen!
I have tried many, many pens of various types and manufacturers over the years, and this is the one I keep coming back to.I’ve been a fan of EnerGel pens since I first tried them. The 0.5 especially always held a dear place in my heart for smooth, solid lines, and comfort. I was disappointed that there wasn’t a higher quality though. Then I found these. They have the same beautiful ink that the others have, in a sharp looking form factor.The metal barrels look sharp, and their color choices are vibrant and fun. (The silver is still my favorite, though.) One of the best things about them, though, is the ability to put the cartridges in from the disposable versions so you don’t have to keep buying more Alloy ones. This is especially nice since these only seem to come in 0.7 size, and I prefer the finer point. Still, even at 0.7 these write remarkably well.I believe the mechanism in them is the same as the plastic ones, though, so it does feel a little cheap when you click them. Still, I’ve never had one fail on me. The button looks like it’s probably just chromed plastic, so that’ll probably wear out before anything else does. (Your mileage may vary, and I could be wrong on this point, but it doesn’t look as high quality as the rest of the material.)Overall, a GREAT pen and could easily become your “sensible default”. For me, I have stopped looking at others and just keep coming back to these. They’re that good.

Great Pen
I usually have the plastic versions and they break often. I got tired of that and found this one. You can totally replace ink and keep it forever. My first one finally did break after 5 years of daily use. It was well worn but worked perfectly till that fateful day.

Great old school quality. I write all day long, and this product makes it easy and fun. I need to jot down what patients say to me and what I need to say to them. This pen makes it effortless and the ink dries fast. The replacement ink is easy to put in, and the tip is smooth and comfortable. The metal pen feels real and strong. I have been using these for years. I use the .7 pen and love it! I also pick the pen colour to hold the colour I need and it is easy and great way to get the pen I need. LOVE ‘EM!

I never write reviews. But this pen is literally a miracle. NO smudge at all immediately after writing something, whilst the ink is nice and thick. The pink colour is so cute too and goes perfectly with my little journal. Itâs fairly lightly weighted, not the lightest pen Iâve ever used but light enough that I can write for hours. And you donât have to press down hard for the ink to be plentiful. You can write with light pressure and thereâs still lots of ink that comes out. Just the perfect amount. Iâm so happy with this pen Iâm going to buy a bunch more!
