    LOVE IT!!!
I LOVE this product!!It is VERY STURDY, WORKS GREAT and is VERY easy to assemble for the most part; I wish I had found this one BEFORE having bought a few others which were horrible. The only area where I had trouble adjusting was with the four top grasps that hold on to the mirror… they were hard to push in, but i think even if I hadn’t pushed them in… it still seemed to hold my phone in place VERY WELL and would have also been just fine. This item was VERY EASY to assemble! I have a 2017 Nissan Sentra and I seldom use the mirror dimmer, so I can’t comment how well the product would work while the mirror is dimmed, but otherwise…My cell phone with rubber covering measures 7″ x 3 1/4″ x 1/2″ and is heavy, yet this holder keeps it in place as i drive (no falling forward)…this product is DEFINITELY FIVE STARS for me; I HIGHLY recommend it.

    Fit my rearview mirror
I really liked this rearview mirror holder because it was more streamlined than one I had purchased before. Because it emwas less bulky it fit on my rearview mirror and works great. Does exactly what I wanted it to do.

    Pretty good
It didn’t cost much, and it is a pretty good solution.Pros: My rear-view mirror is plenty strong enough to hold this in place, and it puts my phone right where I need it. The phone clamp is well made and has cutouts for controls and power. I use it every day.Cons: it doesn’t grip the mirror that well and the grippers can come off the mirror easily which makes it slop around on the mirror (but it doesn’t fall off or anything). The nut that holds the phone clamp to the mirror-clamp comes loose easily, so I’m always retightening that. Not a big deal, either one.Pretty good product overall. Very useful, and if the mirror clamps stayed in place better, and if the adjustment screw stayed tight, I would like it even better.

    IT WORKS JUST RIGHT
It does what it’s designed for. . . Gets the I-phone (or the GPS ) exactly where you want it: off the console, the window, or the top of the instrument panel. Hanging from the rear-view mirror-DISCREETLY- “in the air” & to the Side where the eye easily finds it. All parts fully adjustable to fit anyone. At about the cost of a New York bagel! For me, it is a perfect answer to what was an always niggly little annoyance. Fairly easy to remove or transfer, I find that it adds ease and pleasure to driving. A well thought out product.

Not bad but I went with a better option
ProsPutting it together was easyMounting it to the rearview mirror was easyVery versatile with phonesSufficient options to tweak to your likingConsLooks cumbersome mounted to the rearview mirrorDistorts line of sight even with options for the mounting neck to drop for bigger phonesThe worst of it all is that if your rearview mirror is not newer, if you driving down a gravel or bumpy road. The weight of the phone will cause your riverview mirror to slowly shift down when the phone is mounted. Since the phone mount is using the riverview mirror as it’s anchor.

Love this product. Has worked and held up for over a year
Very pleased. Make sure you measure for your vehicle. Have one in our truck and car. Both have held up remarkably well. Have had over a year and still working great, not loose hasn’t broken. Would buy again if the need arose.

    Love this…
The instructions looked complicated, but it is put together in no time and as a rideshare driver years ago, I wish I had had this then. You don’t have to take your eyes off of the road when this is right in front of you and positioned at any angle you want! Great product

Went from 5 stars to 2 stars
This is my second and last edit. I decided to try to change the angle of the phone mount so that the phone wouldn’t flop forward, but when I took it down, I was unable to adjust one of the arms. I had adjusted it before–with great difficulty–but this time it wont budge at all. So I’ve decided this thing is just WAY too much trouble. It gets out of adjustment so easily, but if you try to fix while driving, you risk making the mirror fall off. Rearview mirrors simply were not meant to have anything this heavy hanging from them, much less something that needs adjustment by pressing upwards. Sending it back and going back to my old vent-blocking model.————–I am editing this review right away and knocking off a couple stars. What I wrote below was when I first received it and was so excited about how well it SEEMED it would work. Problem was, I hadn’t taken a test drive yet. As soon as I started driving, my phone flopped forward. My fiddling, trying to get it to stay made the entire review mirror fall off. I was able to get to a gas station where a policeman helped me get it back up. He said it’s probably too much weight on the mirror. My husband and I then went on a day trip and had a lot of difficulty switching between my phone and his phone in the holder. What I came to realize is that any upward motion in adjusting this holder can make the review mirror fall off. That center post that supports the phone cannot be pulled down as I show in the photos: your phone has to fit under that little protrusion (in the circled area in the first photo) in order to keep the phone from flopping forward. Well let me tell you that taking your phone out and putting it back in several times can making everything get out of adjustment. And believe me, you don’t want to be adjusting this thing while you’re driving. We are a little iffy now about keeping it but my RAV4 just doesn’t have a good place to put a phone. And since we live in the South where it gets blazing hot all Summer, a suction cup holder just won’t work. So I may end up keeping it because of lack of any other choice–that is, now that we have decided we don’t want to block a vent anymore. One thing I just did was to put a rubberband around that center post to add a little extra security to keep my phone from flopping forward. Haven’t tried it out yet, but I hope it helps. We may just refrain from ever using my husband’s larger phone in it.Initial review:I just got this today and wanted to write down how the installation went before I forget. It took me quite a while to fiddle with all the components and get it placed properly. The fiddling actually caused my rearview mirror to fall off! So now I know how to reinstall a rearview mirror on a 2017 RAV4. So that this doesn’t happen to you, I would suggest you try to get it all adjusted before hanging it. Or if you see something needing to be adjusted, take it down and adjust it, then put it back up to check. If you have the same vehicle as I do, you won’t need to widen the hanger–just leave the two sides all the way towards the center. What I really had trouble with was pulling out those 4 “arms” that grab the mirror. It takes some force but you want to be gentle as well since the whole thing doesn’t feel that sturdy: feels like the pieces could break easily if forced. But here’s what happened: I finally got those arms pulled out all the way then slipped the whole thing around the mirror and pushed the grips close up against the mirror –Voila!–but then realized, What the heck? I’ll never be able to adjust the mirror at night with bright headlights behind me! I was really disappointed at thinking there was no way around it and I’d have to send it back.BUT I took the whole thing off again, pulled the arms back out with difficulty, and then put it back on, making sure the lever for the rearview mirror was in FRONT of the phone holder. What I had to do to allow it to be functional was tighten the grips at the TOP of the mirror but not at the bottom. That kept the contraption on firmly AND allowed me to move the lever back and forth. Hooray! So if you don’t want to have to fiddle with all this and risk having your mirror fall out, try adjusting all this before hanging. And be sure you use the handy levers in the back that let you easily open and close over your mirror.Photos show 1) comparison with vent-blocking holder, 2) where to make sure your mirror lever is, 3) showing that it holds my husband’s larger, heavier phone with ease. [EDIT: I was wrong about that. It has to be tucked under the protrusion at the top in order to keep flopping forward which it seems to do anyway.]
