Perfect positioning
I didn’t want to attach my webcam to the top of my monitor because the bezel is tiny and it would have blocked a small portion of the screen. I found this flexible mount and decided to give it a try. The gooseneck is rigid and getting the positioning correct took about 15 minutes but the result is perfect. The webcam sits just above the top of my monitor and can be angled however I like due to the knuckleball at the end of the gooseneck; it’s rock solid. Great product.

Good exercise
The gooseneck is STRONG. Bending this thing into the exact position I wanted was a workout. I also do not recommend trying to bend it into shape while it’s clamped on to your desk, it’s much easier to bend it into shape before clamping.I needed something to mount my webcam on that would point down at my working surface and not at my face, and this worked perfectly for that. The neck is long enough to get high enough off my desk to give a clear view of everything. Besides the flexible neck, there’s also multiple adjustments on the mount itself (ball joint, 360-degree rotation, and a ~160-degree hinge. Once I got the camera into the position I wanted, it was very easy to fine-tune the angle and rotation.

You need to be a contortionist
Great product but the goose neck is VERY strong. Not as bendable as pic shows imo. I purchased for a child to do online tutoring so definitely not gonna work for us. Will be returning. Overall strong, good quality, good price.

Meh
I bought this for (a) more ability to aim my camera than I can get hanging it off the top of the monitor, (b) the ability to raise the camera a bit so people aren’t looking up my nostrils all the time, and (c) to get the camera closer to my face, show less of my home office. And of course this sort of accomplishes all that. But.#1, it doesn’t grip the edge of my work table well. Any attempt to adjust things at the camera end threatens to work it loose from the lip of the desk. I am thinking of trying to clamp it onto the monitor stand instead. Put one of those rubber jar-lid grippers in there.#2, the “flexible” part is so inflexible that it is a major wrestling match to make adjustments.#3, it is of course a bit more bobbly than your monitor–if your desk/worktable has any play to it at all, as mine does, this thing weaves around in front of your face like a cobra. Not a fault of the product, of course, just warnin’ ya.The ball head is the bomb, though. And the whole assembly does seem well-made: Will probably last a lifetime. There are plastic parts, but they are thick and strong. And it was easy to put together and set up.

Top Tier
I bought this for just over 20 bucks thinking itâs gonna be made terribly and wouldnât be able to hold a webcam for long. Let me tell you how wrong I was! This things so sturdy I could beat someone over the head with it atleast 15000 times and I believe it would still function properly!

Cheap and weak
I bought this in July of â23 for my webcam. Within days, the pads of the base clip fell off. I would stick them back in place, but they would fall out again every time I needed to move the camera. The base clip itself is weak. As I moved the camera, the top clip would bend and fall over, so I would use pliers to shape it back into clip-able use. After months of this futility, I ended up going back to the laptop. During my office winter clean, I finally threw this useless xamera stand away – it had been leaning up against my bookshelf for months.

Better than what I expected
Some reviewers complained about how stiff this thing is, but I personally prefer it that way. It is a little stiff when you first get it, but I expect it to loosen up over time. I’d rather have it really stiff now instead of dealing with a flimsy goose neck that doesn’t stay exactly where you put it. This thing stays where you put it. It might take a little muscle to bend it where you want it, but I’m glad that it stays there and doesn’t budge. It’s a good product.

Bought this to better position my webcam. Works great, good seller support too. Really appreciate it!

Cliente de Amazon –
Es muy util que sea muy flexible, pero por la misma razón, si la mesa o lugar donde lo vas a anclar no es del todo firme, va a tambalear mucho. Fuera de eso, me parece muy buen accessrio

My Husband is still into BMX’ing (even after 50!). The kids got tired of always being asked to go out biking with him because he really wants a photographer to be there for when he does his tricks! This webcam arm is perfection. Really surprised by how sturdy it is, well built, and keeps its place – even when he is riding hard or standing on the handlebars. The video he has been able to get with the arm is pretty incredible. It is very stable so there is minimal shaking. We’ve also used it on the back deck for taking video of hummingbirds at the feeder. The clamp is super-strong and stays in place, even on a 2″ deck railing. This arm will get lots of use, it is great quality and very reasonably priced.

Very well build! The clamp is strong and the neck is very firm. So much so it can be hard to position it initially, but once you have it set, it stays in place with no drooping.

works well, but very stiff and hard to manipulate into different positions
