2 years later and still going strong
After building a new patio we realized we needed speakers. These Pyle speakers seemed like a good solution at a reasonable price. Usually I go with more recognizable brands in Audio like Polk or something, but weather proof systems get so expensive.Out of the box these are so simple and easy to set up. I had these mounted and plugged in in less than 15 minutes. Hooked these up to an outdoor smart plug to easily turn on and off since the switch is on the back of the speaker. I was very impressed with the sound output of these considering they are only rated at 20W per speaker. We can easily hear the music the full length of our bocce ball court. Super easy to connect to either a phone or an Echo device. The bluetooth range is great. We have ours connected to our Echo Dot in our bedroom about 60 ft away and rarely have any connection issues.2 years later and the only issue is a bit of rust on the grill and the bracket. I just popped the grill off, washed it and repainted it and now they look brand new again. They still sounds great and neither speaker cone or tweeter looked like they’d worn much despite being exposed to coastal California weather every day.I just bought another set to add to our new deck. These are so reliable with good output for anything outdoors.

I got tired of the rechargeable portable speakers.. donât last as long and arenât very loud! These work great via Bluetooth and have great sound! I had a pro install them because of the layout of my house but the install is easy otherwise!

Works Great as Instant Car Audio System
Wanted audio in HMMWV. Tried using portable bluetooth speakers, but they were quickly drowned out by the loud HMMWV engine.These work great! They are nice and loud (no problem hearing with engine on). In video I only turned up 3/4 of the way on phone because it was already very loud.They connect to bluetooth on iPhone with no issues and no drop in connectivity.I didn’t want to convert 12VDC (which I already have available in vehicle because of another project) to 120VAC, just to convert back to 12VDC again, so I cut the adapter cord and spliced it directly to the available 12VDC, which worked great (perform at your own risk).

Beware of their warranty!
We bought this speaker last July and installed it in Sept in a new patio we were building. The speakers are out of the weather. We have used them (and liked them!) for about 6 months.About 2 months ago they would not come on. I cycled the power on and off a few times and they started working again. This problem has happened a few more times. Then a few weeks ago, we noticed that the passive speaker was not working at all. I checked the connections and they were all good. So I went back and forth with their customer service a few times over two weeks before they finally agreed that it was their problem. Just pay shipping both ways and they will repair. Now these speakers weigh about 15 lbs each. So it will cost me about $25 UPS each way. I told them that was not acceptable for me to spend about 50% of the cost of the speakers to ship that were only used about 6 months. They basically said too bad. I will be replacing with another brand.

Solid sounding sturdy speakers for outside!
These speakers are extremely nice. The fact that they are Pyle speakers speaks volumes. Out of the box I was blown away at the size. They are not small or cheaply made at all. Everything came with the order as was advertised and they were packaged quite well. The speakers were very easy to put up and the mounting options are huge. The hardware is very adequate. I used different screws for my application but the oneâs provided are perfect for other types of applications like house or wood supporting structures. The Bluetooth setup is easy peasy. The only con I have is that the IPhone application while playing does not do the speakers justice at all. They sound amazing, but adding an equalizer option would add greatly to the sound quality these speakers can kick out. Even with the Bluetooth on IPhone you can kick up the volume quite well. The sound quality at lower decibels is amazing. Very clean and clear. I would definitely buy another pair. And I might!

Bluetooth speakers are a MUST at this house!
We recently added a gabled roof over our patio. These bluetooth speakers are an added “touch” to all of our hours outdoors!! The sound is amazing and we use them every single day!! So glad we went out on a limb and purchased a brand that we didn’t know much about. You will NOT be disappointed with these!!

gute Boxen für meinen AuÃenbereich. Verbinden sich schnell und unkompliziert, sehr gute Reichweite, keine Kompatibilitätsprobleme, guter Doppelwums, auch Klassik geht!, für das geld kann man nix falsch machen. Einen halben Punkt würde ich für das wirklich extrem dünne Lautsprecherkabel und die filigrane Verbindung abziehen, aber es funktioniert obwohl ich befürchtet habe, dass ein kleiner Windhauch ausreichen würde….

Bässe ziemlich mager, viel zu wenig Leistunc für outdoor-Verwendung. Ging zurück. Positiv ist die Möglichkeit für den Anschluss per Klinkenstecker. Da aber bei vielen TV keine Klinkenbuchse mehr vorhanden ist, wäre eARC sinnvoller.
