replacement remote works
Since this remote was an exact duplicate of my lost original, I didn’t expect a problem. However, the instructions are difficult to follow and screen shots did not match my TV. After a bit of frustration, I used the instructions in the TV settings menu (a Samsung Smart TV) for adding a remote, and got immediate results. The new remote works perfectly.

I am new to the whole âsmart homeâ life and bought this remote as a replacement to my basic fire stick one, thinking that the remote itself would be able to use voice audio to search/type. That is not the case. You need to have an Alexa in order for it to hear you lol.. My fault for not researching and reading fully, but thought I would share in case anyone else finds themselves thinking this. This remote does everything it is supposed to do, so 5 stars!
