Didnât work out of the box
The console didnât work out of the box. Couldnât return it as it was ordered as a Christmas present and the return time expired before Christmas. Now trying to work with their support. The respond after a day or two but just repeat asking how they may help. I tell them that they could replace this under warranty. To which they ask again how may we help you. Save your money. Buy something else. Piece of junk.

Fun, lots of games but a little hard to learn
This fun little gaming system is loaded with games. My son has been having fun learning how to access each one! The games are very bright and clear, they look great on-screen. Itâs a little bit hard to navigate, to go from one game back to the main menu and then to another game. Once we master that aspect, weâll be completely satisfied with this console!

Device was dead on arrival.
Device would power on to a logo of a battery with an exclamation mark. Even with device plugged in, it would not boot. Tried multiple power bricks with a variety of cables for more the 24 hours of charging time. But device would not boot and still showed battery error.

Craptastic!
First, this listing has both the plus and the old model. I didnât realize I was buying the old model vs. the plus. :(Second, it was DOA as many of the other reviews have said. It was stuck booting on the Anbernic logo. When I tried to flash the firmware, the card died in the middle of the process. I could see it was faulty as the write speeds were fluctuating badly.So I ended up buying a Sandisk 64gb card, flashing it from the Anbernic website, and bam it booted up and has worked flawlessly since. In general, one should replace the card these devices come with, but it should at least turn on and boot up.TLDR; Make sure you get the plus and be prepared to flash the firmware on a new card.

Switched to Garlic OS. The screen stopped wirkjnv when I tried to switch it back to the original os.My GBA Sp still works. This didn’t China builds garbage Japan doesn’t!

Great game
I bought one of these a few months ago and grandson loved it but it got broken. So bought him a new one. What I am not happy about is I ordered purple and I was mailed a white one. Why bother choosing ifvyou just get whatever! I would have given 5 stars jad I gotten color I asked for.

This was 2nd one first was DOA I believe it was the cheap sd card. Put in my own SD card and own roms and now works snappy and reliable
