for beginners it would be nice to have more specific instructions about how to set up the paper rather than the printer itself along with how to apply onto real skin. Butttt other than that itâs awesome

RHEIN Tattoo Stencil Printer This is a nice printer,it is small and compact. It will talk to you to assist you in printing. This printer actually comes with a full plug -in charger along with the charging cable. I find this a plus because not I have seen come only with a charging cable , but no actual charger. Build quality seem rather sturdy, with possible exception of the paper feed door, which should likely be handled with care when using. Printing results were decent , but for two exception. First images were printed in reverse, not too big a deal for images, but if they include text it could be a more serious issue. I suspect this is more an issue with the app than the printer itself. Second, the printer failed to print full page images. Again I suspect the app may be responsible for this as well. I have experienced the app for this printer in the past, and it was a horrible app. I removed it and got rid of that printer. For this printer I downloaded the latest version. They have been working on it and have definitely made improvements. It is at least workable now. They also have included a new 3D view which will allow you to get an idea of what the tattoo will look like on various parts of the body. It could still use some work, but I am interested in seeing how they progress with it. As mentioned above it seems that for some reason the app has the printer print the images in reverse, and it seems to like to leave a margin of approx. 30mm or 1 1/4 inch at the bottom of the page. When loading images into the app, the full image was not visible on the screen. With certain feature it is , but I would definitely like to see the full image in the main screen to better know what I am working with and how I might want / need to change things. Although the app still needs some work, I am now interested to see where they will be going with it. I would say this printer is above average, worthy of 4 stars, but the current limitations of the app, there are printers using different apps that are easier to work with and will give better results. Which should technically give it 2 stars… but I feel that there is evidence they have been working hard on improving the app, so presuming they will continue to do so ⦠3.5 stars.Explaining my rating system:5 – a superior product – I would highly recommend4 – above average â a great choice3 – average â what one might generally expect2 – below average â I would advise seeking an alternative1- Horrible â a waste of your valuable money – avoid if at all possible

Easy to use and portable!
I just got this tattoo stencil printer and so far, it’s pretty cool. It’s way smaller than I thought it would be, which is awesome. The setup was super easy, no messing around with complicated drivers or anything. The image quality is decent for stencils, definitely clear enough to work with. It came with some transfer paper too, so I could get started right away. The battery seems to last a good while, haven’t had to charge it yet after a few uses. Overall, I’m happy with it for the price. Definitely recommend for any tattoo artist looking for a convenient stencil printer.

Bought this mainly for the document printing, not the tattoo part.Installation was easy – just pointed my phone at the QR code for the app, and it installed and connected to my printer with no issues.The printing itself seems to work pretty well! Had some trouble at first because the instructions made it look like you were supposed to put the paper in with the thermal printing side up, but that didn’t work.So I instead put the paper in with the thermal printing side down, and that did the trick!The print quality is about what you would expect from a thermal printer – basically on paper with receipts you get at the grocery store. Plenty good enough for a printing of a boarding pass or something along those lines.Also, be aware that this printer takes A4 paper, NOT letter. I have letter sized thermal paper, and it’s just a tad too wide, so it gets a little scrunched as it goes through the machine. It’s not totally unusable, but still, your edges of the paper will be torn up a bit.

Feeding the paper takes a bit of practice, but the prints are very good.
It did take a bit of effort and a learning curve to feed the paper in just right as it does have an auto feed function that pulls the paper in once it detects a sheet edge. The power button is a touch type, so it’s easy to turn on and off accidentally. The voice that comes on is a bit loud and I didn’t see a way to lower the volume other than blocking the speaker on the bottom of the machine. For the life of me I cant under stand what the voice is saying. I hear the word “print” but that’s all I can make out. Bluetooth synced up immediately and flawlessly. The software uses two different apps for the tattoo stencil printing and one for document printing. I did not care for the document printing app as I am using this strictly for printing stencils. There is a small bundle of cleaning sheets that came in handy. I had never seen this kind of sheet before and they work very well. Overall the prints are clear and detailed based on my image quality. I’d recommend this one over others.
