Get matte – not clear!
I had 4 of the clear, love the case but it was fragile. I seemed to always break the front plate, in the right top area. Decided to give the matte a try and it far more flexible than the clear, which was a hard plastic. The matte one has some give to it, more flexible.

It breaks easily
It breaks at the seams created by the mold. Mine broke in 3 weeks, I had to replace it. still didn’t put it on, using Sammy’s original case now. The ONLY good thing about this one is that it doesn’t add bulk to the phone and looks good. If it lasted, it would be one of my favorites. One more thing, it has a lanyard loop, but I don’t think it does anything nor it is useful.

An excellent, no frills clear case with a thoughtful touch.
A simple clear polycarbonate case that provides moderate drop protection. The fitment of the rear cover is excellent with no creaks or gaps. The front cover, which is something that I never use, needs a bit more quality control. Mine is slightly warped. I get that it’s a thinner structure and the material is probably prone to bending but it needs to be reinforced or made of a different material to prevent this. Again, a non issue for me but possibly for others if theirs aren’t completely straight.A touch that Ringke provides that most other case makers don’t is a strap/charm loop. In this case, it’s not the usual cutout along the edge but a raised loop. It’s the perfect height to level with the camera bump so it solves the rocking issue that the Fold has when in flex mode.Finally, the price is reasonable. Many other case companies have not only raised prices but have done so exponentially on the Fold series. Spigen offers their dual material ultra hybrid which feels more substantial but is also slightly thicker and over twice the price. No charm loop to level out the back either. Ringke is an easy recommendation.

Only Case I Use
This is the only case I use, and I have tried many cases. I like how it’s not bulky, but not too thin. I also like that they have some kind of tape on some parts of the case, so it doesn’t move. The price is good as well, most cases are gonna be $50 to $70. And this one’s cheaper, but really good quality. Some cons I do have are I don’t really like the ring thing at the bottom to clip things to, too much but at the same time I forget about it. And if you take the case off it don’t fit right when you put it back. (that could be on me though and how I took it off the first one)

0 Support from Ringke, but a good product if it doesn’t fail prematurely
The case is a great minimal option, that really preserves the new thinner feel of the GFo5. The soft-touch coating is the perfect level of grippiness without being ‘sticky’ or hindering dropping into a pocket. This is NOT a case for someone who drops the phone 5+ times a year, this is for someone who drops their phone 1-2 times a year onto something like wood flooring where there may be a touch of give.Sadly, the front case cracked within about 2 weeks of ownership. The crack slowly grew until it completely failed. The phone has never been dropped, no scratches/dents/gouges on the case… just a manufacturing defect. I reached out to Ringke email support, with no response. Amazon has no interest in helping given it’s past 30 days. If you’re fine ‘being the support’ yourself, it’s a good slimline option. I like that they included adhesive in a couple spots. My replacement case has adhesion only on the left side of the front screen, and you can tell if the case loosens over time, or under stress, that my new generic case may lift/shift. The new case is still relatively slim, but you can see how different it is. even in the picture attached. I may simply buy another ringke and hope I just got a bad batch, as it’s well designed for my needs and I miss the soft-touch and thin profile.

Slim and nice case. However, subsequent orders were used cases.
The case itself is nice and slim and seems to be the thinnest one out there. I like the addition of the peg on the bottom of the rear case to help it lay flat. However, the front portion cracked after only a month’s use.I tried ordering a new one and it came used. The packaging was different (not Ringke packaging) and the case itself was obviously used. There were no blue protective covers on the adhesive grip tapes and the adhesives themselves were worn and peeling. Re-ordered again and got a used case AGAIN. Not sure what’s going on but will hold off on ordering through Amazon due to the seller (Airland)

Best Slim Soft Case
This case is awesome. It fits perfectly and it’s so lightweight and low profile that you have to look twice to actually notice it’s on the phone. They put adhesive in the corners instead of just the big side strip to ensure an even more secure fit than other premium cases. I’m definitely buying another for backup, and I think I’ll get the glossy one next time. Don’t pay more, just get this one. You can’t do better.

Slim but fragile
For Z Fold 5. The back section is nice quality and thin. Good protection and no fingerprints. The sticky points wear off so the front section slides off easily. I was placing it on my charger and it slid off and snapped in my hand. 2 weeks past 90 day warranty so a replacement was denied by Ringke/airland. Spigen has done replacements for real issues after many months into use. Go with a company who stands by their products.

This case is exactly what my Fold 5 needed. It’s lightweight and definitely strong enough to cushion a fall. It has a raised ring around the camera bump to protect the lenses, and a little foot on the opposite side from the camera bump to keep it from wobbling when you put it down. The cutouts make the power button/fingerprint reader easier to find without looking. My only small gripe is I wish they’d use clear adhesive tape instead of black to preserve the look of the phone, but the pieces of tape are tiny so it’s not a big deal.
