Almost perfect, but still the best out there as of now
I have tried five different cases for my new Fold 4, and this one is the best. I originally decided against having a case with a cover over the bend of the phone, but, after I dropped it and got a small scratch on the bend, I opted for a case that had one. This was the best case out of the five I looked at by far.The case itself is slim-fitting and doesn’t add too much bulk, which is very nice–even with the bend cover. The bend cover functions flawlessly and seems very sturdy. The back has a carbon-fiber look, but it’s actually some sort of woven fibers, which is actually better than what I thought the material was–plastic. Makes it feel a little more expensive. The front screen cover feels good once installed–almost like it’s glass. As another reviewer said, the screen protector initially feels like it doesn’t allow your fingers to glide. However, once skin oils get on the screen, it’s no issue whatsoever. It feels very smooth. I can confirm that I am able to easily grab the side app bar with my right thumb with no issue–unlike some other cases that completely prevented me from using the side app bar.My one major complaint is the kickstand. It works well at the position it holds the phone in, but (1) the volume and power buttons are hidden against whatever the surface is on, and (2) you cannot stand the phone upright in portrait mode. I guess you could say a third, lesser issue is that the phone is also almost too upright. I like watching Youtube on my phone when I’m cooking dinner and whatnot, and having the phone not be so perpendicular to the counter would be helpful (for me, at least, since I’m 6’2″). Placing the kickstand closer to the center of the phone to fix those issues (like the default Samsung case) would have been ideal. The kickstand seems sturdy enough as long as you don’t overextend it in the wrong direction, in which case I could easily see it snapping off. But I could see the kickstand being fine over time otherwise.Overall, it’s a pretty damn-good case. I’d highly recommend it.

The case make the phone a bit heavier, but it’s a good phone case it cover the entire phone which is the main focus and that is a big plus. Let me not forget to mention that the case is thick..Love it

Kickstand came off after a couple weeks
This case is pretty good! I really like that it is more compact than most. On the left side of the outside screen, it is slightly harder to get a precise touch due to the case sides, but overall not a huge issue.After about 3 weeks the kickstand started to come unglued and about a week after that it just came off. Not a huge deal for me as I never used it, and I filled the spot with a nice piece if wood to make the case stand out and personalized. I would reccomend this case as it stays on unlike some others I have had.

Finally a good case for the Food 4!
I’ve gone thru more cases in a week than I do underwear! It’s absolutely ridiculous how poor the fit, quality and design is of many top brands of cases for this phone. I’ve tried 8, returned 7 but will be keeping this one. Finally the search is over! First, it does not slip out of my hand, I like the feel, look and quality of this case. Second, it covers the hinge without being bulky or heavy. Lastly, the price is a good value. My screen and fingerprint features all function properly. I’m very happy with this purchase.

** update 10/29 this case is great, I’m here to buy another – I stepped, YES, STEPPED on my phone and I ain’t no little thing, lol when I heard a crunch my heart sank; I picked up my phone up and it looked shattered. I about died. To my surprise after I got home and took a closer look and removed this case, my phone wasn’t damaged at all!!! This case is %1000 worth it!I had tried two other cases; this is by far the best. Hinge protection is important – this case is sturdy, and is built well. It hold the phone snug. I like the front screen protector , the only con is it shows EVERY fingerprint, smudge, but it does its job, so i can’t knock any stars for it, make sure to throughly clean your front screen before placing on the case to be sure no dust us underneath. The adhesive stips are a nice touch as well!!! I got the rose gold and red and love them both! I tried to by cheap too but this is worth it!!!!! $30 to protect a $2000 phone isn’t bad!

Good case BUT
This case was good overall. It fit well, hinge protection was good, and slip. Overall, the case did not add much girth to the phone which is nice since the phone is already big as it is.The ONE drawback is: wireless charging. Although for the most part it does work with wireless charging, but it can be finicky. The Bump for the stand on the back makes the back uneven, and I noticed because of this you have to sometimes “play” with the positioning of the phone when charging, on standup wireless charges it was even more picky, and you had to get it just right to make sure it stayed on for a charge. I also have wireless car charger, and in this it worked at tad better, because I have the type of charger that auto adjusts the positioning for the phone when charging, HOWEVER it seems the gap created by the hump caused 2 things to happen, First the charge was fairly weak, so if you were using android auto fairly heavily it will not keep up with the usage and only slow down the battery usage, not charge it up. The second thing I noticed that when this happens the “hump” on the back of the case got real hot, more so than the rest of the charging area, So this may be were most of the charging conduction was taking place and the gap was causing it to overheat.In the end I had to return the case and go for another one that had not stand, because in the end wireless charging for me is necessary and more important than the kickstand.

I’ve been through a lot of cases I’ve had three full phones just by far has been the best case It’s tight fitting it doesn’t allow dirt to get into the screen in betweenIt’s easy to grip The added texture on the case makes it easy to hold and not lose your gripThe kickstand doesn’t have a hinge but it’s very sturdy so far it’s the best case I really do enjoy it I’ve only had it a short time but all the other cases I’ve had have worn out a few monthsThis one is tight to fit and the hinge works both folded and unfolded where other ones the weight balance is really off and always falls
