Great Picture
This tv is a replacement for my 55â LG OLED tv and I really love this tv. The remote is small but very similar to a FireStick remote. The set up was fairly easy but make sure you have your phone ready for access codes! Well worth the money.

How good the Quality is!
Bought the TV for my Husband for Christmas this year. He loves it. The Colors on the TV are so vivid. We have an older Samsung TV. This one is by far the best one we had.

Gorgeous picture and sound
First off, ignore the people who gave this one star because the TV arrived with a cracked screen. That’s a delivery issue, not a product quality issue.I did a lot of research before settling on this model and I’m very happy with my choice. The most important factors to me are picture and sound quality, both of which are excellent. It took a bit for me to get the settings perfect to my taste: now the colors are deep and bright, and the sound is so pure it actually takes getting used to (you don’t realize how much sound interference there is until it’s gone). The TV also has lots of apps as well as some live TV and Samsung channels.It’s not cheap, but if you watch a lot of movies and prestige TV, and are in the market for an OLED, I highly recommend the Samsung S85D.

TV Didnât Work, No Help From Samsung
I ordered this television for my parents for Christmas and an important part of the gift was that I would set it up while visiting them for the holidays. I set it up and the TV was a complete lemon. The screen would flash but otherwise wouldn’t show any image at all. I got in touch with Samsung and they sent a repairman who claimed the screen was cracked on the inside and that it wasnât Samsungâs problem. Samsungâs customer service wonât offer any more help. This all took days and then I had to fly home. Now my older parents are stuck with repackaging this bulky television to return it to Amazon. I expect a high-end brand like Samsung to stand by its product and this was a huge disappointment. Iâll be going elsewhere for the replacement television.

I had to exchange the first one that was delivered because there was no picture. Amazon sent me a replacement right away and picked up the broken one a few days later. I’m very happy with the television, and with Amazon service.

Excellent TV
I purchased this TV to upgrade from my OG Samsung LED TV (still an amazing TV, now in my guest room). The Samsung Live TV is wonderful and easy to use, the solar charging remote makes me feel better about not wasting batteries, and the screensaver and timeout give me peace of mind about walking away into another room.My older Samsung TV had 120hz refresh and I could NOT live without that in my new TV. Such a rate in modern TVs is reserved for higher end models, so this is a GREAT value for a TV.

Pretty easy to setup, but change some defaults
This TV works amazingly for most of what I need! I love to use the speakers on it for blasting Spotify, and they sound great! They donât crackle or do any of that low-end speaker stuff. The different sound modes work well across different media, but I find the default works best.As far as picture quality, it looks okay at first. The interpolation by default sucks, though. It takes some menu navigation to disable it, as well as other smoothing settings. 60/30FPS video does NOT need to play at 120FPS, it makes it look so weird and natural.On a similar note, while colors are bright, vibrant, and look excellent, cartoons seem to suffer from a fuzziness that I canât describe or imagine how to fix. My guess is over sharpening and noise, but adjusting these settings doesnât fix it.On the setup and UI side, it was very easy to set up, even my less tech-savvy friend was able to get it up and running for his profile in just a few minutes. Having a Samsung phone helped, but wasnât required at all. The UI itself is kind of ugly, I much prefer an Android or Google TV look. It was a bit of a chore to learn how to add, remove, and edit apps on the home screen.Speaking of apps, I was quite happy to learn that I could access the Samsung Internet app on this TV. It works for accessing sites that are not apps on this TV, without any distracting, annoying pop-ups. This was especially useful for watching some anime unavailable on Crunchyroll.Itâs also very great that you can game on this TV. While I havenât gotten around to it, it seems absolutely easy to connect to a fast internet connection, set up GamePass and any controller, and start gaming. I would love to try streaming Call of Duty sometime. It even has a game hub to navigate.Another unique function I enjoy is the side-by-side view, where I could cast my phone screen to one side of the screen while something plays on the other. As an expert brainrotter, this was a very appealing feature. Sound only plays from one source at a time, so thereâs no worry about overlap there.Overall, this TV *could* be worth the price for those shopping this tax bracket, but be prepared to do some in-depth setting changes to override some undesirable defaults.

Easy to setup. Looks great
TV arrived in one piece/undamaged (thank you Amazon delivery people). TV was very easy to unbox, hook up, and configure. Used a QR code to connect and login to all my accounts (Netflix, Amazon Prime…ect) without having to dig around and find all my passwords. TV has a nice AI feature to auto configure settings (picture, and sound) to match what I am watching. TV looks great and came with the two feet wide stance stand instead of the narrow one shown in the picture here. Which I prefer for my setup.
