    Really holds a charge
This is the second one of these I’ve bought. This time I opted for the more upgraded 88w model. First, this really holds a charge. You can leave it shut off for two months and it doesn’t drain the battery, I unpacked it at 72% charged and immediately plugged in a Microsoft Surface that was 30% charged, on which I was running updates. Less than 2 hours later, the Surface was 86% charged and the power station was down to 1%. It took almost 4 hours to fully recharge the power station from empty.Next, I charged a completely empty iPad using the USB (A) port on the power station rather than the AC Outlet. The USB charging seemed much more efficient. After 1 hour the iPad was 28% charged but the power station still had 93% of its power. I finished charging overnight and had 45% left on the power station. Really impressive. It then sat with all power off for two months while I did a lot of traveling. When I turned it back on, the charging capacity was still 45%.I then used it to power a cat cam overnight – which used to nearly drain my older model. In the morning it was still 19% charged. And, a month after that it’s still at 19%.This also has a nifty light that is quite powerful and can be set on flashing for emergency situations. This is a high quality device for charging small appliances and is definitely worth the price.

Works pretty well and pretty compact but…
This mostly works great – the USB plugs work, the 12V outlet works great, the charger works well (with both AC and DC charging), the light works well, it’s easy to turn on the AC plug, but…there are two things about this that I don’t like.1. It uses a modified sine wave inverter meaning it won’t work well on a lot of things. I have an air purifier that just won’t run with modified sine wave and I tried it on that and it wouldn’t run confirming to me that this isn’t pure sine wave. So the AC part of this won’t work on a lot of electronics (computers, routers, etc). The DC works fine since that doesn’t use the inverter.2. The other thing I don’t love about this one is that it uses a regular lithium ion battery. MOST power stations like this use a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. Some might see the lithium ion battery as a feature instead of a bug (they are more powerful for the size and therefore more compact, but also more expensive), but as a power station that I might have sitting in my car in the summer, lithium ion batteries are a big no no. They are a fire risk in that setting. You also have to be diligent in not storing them at or near 100% charge and making sure you charge them in a cool place. I store this kind of battery between 60% and 40% (I usually leave it at 60% and as it gradually discharges below 40% [takes a couple months], I charge it back up to 60%). The LiFePO4 batteries are a bit more forgiving and I feel ok storing those at 80% which makes them more useful in an unexpected emergency like a power outage. If you know you might need it (you are going camping or you have a thunderstorm moving in), you can charge them up to 100% for that occasion (but make sure to not store it at that charge). Being lithium ion just makes this a much less convenient battery for my uses. I like to take one of these and a car battery charger when I go on a road trip so in the event I accidentally leave my lights on or something like that, I can use it to charge my car battery back up – but I’d be afraid to take a lithium ion battery like this in my car, at least in the summer. When stopping at a restaurant to eat, my car might get too hot and cause the battery catch fire.

    Good battery life
Used to power Christmas lights where a plug was unavailable.

Very annoying that you can’t charge this over USB-C
I’m not impressed. The biggest mistake this power bank makes is that it charges only via DC cable. There is no way to charge this over USB-C like every other modern power bank.Just one USB-A port and just one USB-C port is underwhelming. It would also be nice if those ports listed the max output wattage next to them. They also seemed to work inconsistently for me with some devices. The flashlight and display screen are fine. I care neither for the baby-blue color, nor the design, which looks like a prop from Babylon 5. The included carry-pouch is appreciated. The AC outlet worked great with a lower-wattage item. When I plugged in my higher-wattage laptop charger, it still charged, but there was an audible buzz from the power bank. The green indicator light that is always on while the AC outlet is working is bright enough to see outdoors, but that also means it’s too bright indoors on a dark night. Seriously, it hurts to look at. You could use just that as a low-powered flashlight. This is the smallest power bank I own with an AC port built in, and I’m excited about that. But for offering only two USB ports, this feels chunkier than it should be.
