This fit my kindle perfectly. The on/off function works great and I like the stand and the hand strap. The materials are very good and I could see no defects with this case

the other fine features – which are specifically: The flexible straps that enable one to “hold” one’s Kindle with one’s hand (and either hand at that – as there are 2 straps attached to the back of the Kindle case); and the “Stand” (fold out prop or “leg”) that enable one to “prop” the Kindle at about 40 degrees for hands-free reading (on a stable surface, like a table top). These two features make this case a worthy investment compared to the standard plastic “Kindle Case”, which while it Does work – not only looks “cheap” (self-perception is important!) but obligates one to one-hand holding one’s Kindle continually – which detracts from the pleasure of reading. So glad I found this case, and hopeful this review will help someone! 🙂

There arenât many options for older gen kindle cases. I like it enough but didnât like that the prop stand is only one length. I at first bought wrong size and liked I could adjust how angled I wanted to prop. The elastic straps to hold donât help me much but I have small hands. Itâs ok. Fine value for what it is.

Hard to Buy for
Apparently the year kindle I bought is hard to buy a cover for. I usually go for basic plastic protection with magnet for i can turn book on and on just opening it. Could not find and went with this. I was happy, it makes it a bit bigger, but I still have my open to read feature. But I love the stand for when I’m at the table reading with a cup of tea. I love the elastic hand supports for those moments of goblin reading mode where it’s 4 am and the books over your face and normally it’s a ruder awakening. NOT WITH THIS! Because I’m not going to stop staying up far too late with books. Not going to happen.
