Works great on my pontoon boat.
Overall pretty happy. Expect this to last about a year on my pontoon boat. Connected right up to my led light strips on my pontoon boat.The IR controller is kind of a pain because itâs line of sight to the unit box. I downloaded the app and paired to my phone. App is typically confusing with a horrible interface but it works. Wish it would beat the lights to my songs instead of their canned tunes.FYI: boat is 21â long. Bought two led strips and ran them under deck above toons. Had to fabricate a couple of light gauge extension wires so the leds would start at the stern. Did that with some soldering onto the little pins. Works great.

Connects easily, easy to use and install.
I purchased these as an alternative to the supplied control box for my headlights and was surprised by how well they work. The app works flawless on an older S20 ultra. I have 1 controller for each of the 2 outer halo lights and can customize the color scheme to anything desired. The power lugs are fairly sturdy and hold the wiring well. These are wired in to a 12 volt system but the unit says it can also be used on a 24 volt (untested currently). Overall great buy for the price. They do not appear to be waterproof at all so I would suggest mounting them in a dry (ish) location, or cover them.

Using this in place of factory supplied pathway lights controller. I wanted to control more than the 6 lights the factory controller was capable of without having to use 2 controllers. So far works as advertised.

Very specific power requirements
1 of the 2 that I ordered didn’t work out of the box. Revising my previous review. After purchasing a 24v x 6w power supply (5.5×2.5), the unit works excellent without any dim lights at all. Very happy and will purchase again. As far as the one that didn’t work, no luck after new power supply either so that one was a dud.

Donât use in dorm/shared wifi
TL:DR – Almost entirely reliant on home wifi connection, remotes work poorly and are relatively limited. No included DC power supply or cord and no included wall adhesive. Does seem to bring ledâs to full brightness with smooth color change.Thought I might be able to set these up in a college dorm room since I was able to get Alexa working on the roomâs wifi. Should have done more research before hand on my part, admittedly. The app is entirely reliant on internet access to control the LEDs, so I already lost about 99% of its functionality. The remotes are a poor backup, as they have more inconsistent detection than other LED controllers Iâve used and donât work on other identical controllers (I could use the same remote for my previous 2 IR controllers, but the two I bought of these need to be controlled with their own separate remotes that come with the switch).Besides control issues, seemed to be fairly good controllers. LEDs were full brightness and smooth color change. There is no DC cord or adapter included, which would be nice to mention more apparently in the description. I had a few spares though, so I was able to get it to work. Also no adhesive on the piece itself, but command strips work fine.

LED remote w/ dimmer box
I have a set of LED lights on a feature wall in my house. Suddenly, the remote stopped working, and after several attempts to re-program it, I gave up! I ordered this dimmer box, with remote control, and connected it to the existing light strand. And now it works like new! It’s extremely easy to install. You literally just unplug the old box and replace it with the new box. The remote works with the new box. Easy as that! So happy to have my lights back!

We had a lightning strike and it killed our kids led lights. I bought these hoping that would fix it but it didn’t. I’m guessing it’s actually the end that plugs into the wall that needs replaced.
