Clear video
The video quality is crystal clear, both day and night, making it easy to see whoâs at the door. The motion detection is highly accurate and ensures I never miss any activity. The installation process was easy and the app integration works fine providing instant notifications and allowing me to communicate with visitors from anywhere.Highly recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable and high-quality camera doorbell!

Easy setup and works well
Setup is easy. App is clear and makes sense. Unit is easy to install by door and has a decent field of view.Take a look at the photos to see the view. When you open the app you have a preview view that doesnât show the whole picture. You have to move the image around and thatâs when you see how much it warps toward the bottom of the frame. Most things directly in front are clear, but if you want to identify something at the top or bottom they are very warped and depending on how far down in the image- they can be unrecognizable. Also when you click on an alert you go directly to camera preview, not the event video.Motion zones and scheduling limit the amount of alerts which is a big plus.Battery is at 41% after 9 days – live on a busy road so that may have an impact with it thinking a lot.No SD storage so you either have to deal with the short free storage or pay for more.In my case it is fine as I have other cameras near the door with a better lens and limitless storage. This fulfills the doorbell need and does it well. Rings the chime perfectly and I get phone notification quickly as well.Set up with my echo show and itâs hit or miss if it wakes when the bell is pressed. If I ask Alexa for the front door came it shows the live view which is great.Overall a decent product but at the current price may be a bit high compared to a good sale on a top named model.

Speaker is very clear
Surprised with the speaker quality, can clearly communicate with person in front of camera, volume is also clear, installed in main door outside gate to prevent people from going inside and get jumped by dogs… amazon drivers will appreciate it im sure. Once connected to wifi has steady connection and with a power source connected is not needed to remove again.

Doesn’t Work As It Should – Ridiculous Customer Service
Set up was straight forward and easy. The product felt well made and substantial. At first, I really like this product. It had a very clear picture… until I realized a very BIG FLAW which made it all but useless!.And then worse, I had a ridiculous experience with customer service rep over the course of a few days. The attached picture with the orange upper half is the “motion detection zone” I made using their app. In a perfect world, the camera would capture motion and begin recording if it detected any motion in the lower half that is not orange. The other picture is actual footage of an Amazon Prime delivery driver bringing a package. Note that his large truck is in the detection zone in the lower left of the picture. The 2 1/2 car long driveway is also in the detection zone. However, the camera did not even start recording until he was literally AT my front door. (Glad it wasn’t a violent criminal!)I emailed customer service and explained the issue, that the camera DOES NOT START RECORDING in the detection zone, but rather, at my front door directly in front of the camera. Now comes the volley of ridiculous responses from their “customer service” department, namely one specific rep. Dialogues are shortened for this review.Me: Video doesn’t start recording until right in front of the camera at front door.Support: Change motion detection settings to make it more sensitive.Me: I have tried every commination of settings – from Max to Low sensitivity.Support: Please send me screen shots of your device settings.Me: I’ve uploaded the screenshots you requested, as well as a video showing that the Prime delivery driver pulled up to my curb (inside the detection zone), walked up a 2 1/2 car-length driveway and the video still did not start until he was at my front door.Support: Did you set the motion sensitivity higher?Me: Yes, and it still doesn’t start recording inside the motion detection zone. Mail delivery truck was almost gone before your video camera even began recording.(Now, pay attention as this is where she gets ridiculous.)Support: The higher the sensitivity, the longer it can usually take to start recording.Me: I thought you told me to INCREASE the sensitivity, and now you’re telling me it will delay the recording, which is why I initially contacted you. Now you’re suggesting setting it LOWER? Which is it? Higher or Lower? It can’t be both. Is there someone with more knowledge I may be able to speak with?Support: Yes, I understand that you have set it to max, however the video did not start until after the driver left. Unfortunately, this can happen if the camera was not properly angled. The camera is using an infrared sensor, just like a tv remote. If the sensor is not pointed correctly, it might detect later.Me: What? That implies that the Motion Detection SETTINGS are useless. Thank you. I will be returning the video doorbell AND the camera I bought for the back of the house and just buy a Ring or similarly better product. No answers after that.I was told to raise the sensitivity, then to lower it, then the camera is angled wrong, even though it clearly can see the detection zone! Very frustrating, rep seemed to just be guessing and OF NO HELP AT ALL.I will return this video doorbell AND an unopened Toucan video camera I ordered for the back of the house because, well… they just don’t seem to work as they should, and customer service was a joke.I’ll just spend my money on a much better unit, like Ring or Blink. It’s worth the money to get a video doorbell that actually does what it’s supposed to!The Bottom Line?Uncle Steve Disapproved!

The video is clear
This doorbell looks exactly as the pictures shown. And itâs too easy to install and easy to setup. And the videoâs quality is good. So far it works well. The battery last about 1 month, I wish the battery can last longer because I have another doorbell for another house and I just need to recharge it every 2 months. But so far so good, it works really well. Iâm satisfied.
