Great quality
I bought this as a backup for such times when you run out of batteries on your wireless headphones, but still want to continue to use your iPad with wired headphones. It worked right out of the box, no need for any configurations, etc. Charging is as fast as using the iPadâs built in port, and sound quality is superb.

Nice dongle
I’ve had it for almost a month now. Device works great with my new Pixel 9 phone. Accepts volume control start/stop using a set of old Samsung AKG earbuds. Charges with my old samsung non-PD charger and with a new 30W PD charger, though I’ve read from some other comments that it works up to 60W.Also works in Windows 11 with an Intel Z790 chipset motherboard, more specifically an MSI Z790-A Pro Wifi.

Works well
Works well, fits very nicely w aux jack & type-C ports, magnetic feature is a nice bonus for keeping cords organized. Charging speeds seem to be about the same as with a normal charger not connected to aux as well. Connects well, not alot of static or noise outside the music.

Great sound on S24 Plus, inputs a bit bulky
This is the second adapter I bought – the first didn’t sound great and then the sound started cutting out after about 15 minutes. These cost a bit more but work much, much better. Not only is the sound quality fantastic but they simply work. Also works with the volume and pause/play on the headphone cable. The magnetic adapters are unique but a bit heavy and bulky; I don’t think the magnetic feature adds much.

Headphones interference
This dongle works great if you’re just using it for wired headphones. If you try to charge while using headphones, you get all kinds of audio interference. Cracking, buzzing, and popping. I think it may have something to do with the magnets that hold the two adapters together. Totally unacceptable and unlistenable. Got another dongle that works fine while both charging and listening. Good idea, but it doesn’t work. Don’t buy this one. I will probably never use it again. Waste of money.

An excellent dongle for car use
This is an interesting example of a dongle that was designed for a particular use. As it allows charging it is perfect for road trips when you want to listen to music and use waze, google maps or other programs that consume battery life. It is well-built and designed–it’s neat when it snaps together! It feels robust and high-quality, especially for the price.These measurements were taken with a Google Pixel 6A as the source. (As it is not isolated the results are of the dongle + source, but it represents real world use.) I measured max output voltage at 1V.These results are comparable to the celebrated Apple USB-C dongle. However you don’t want to use that in a car! It’s not state of the art but is it no slouch either. Cars are so noisy that these results go to waste but rest assured that even at home these will not color your music.In all, a very good dongle in 2024 and an excellent one for car use.

It isn’t completely what I wanted, but that’s not its fault
I would just like to stress up front that the USB C connection here is purely for charging, not data. The diagrams in the product description do say this, but I probably just missed that back when I bought this.I bought this partially to try to overcome my new phone’s annoying lack of microsd slot and headphone jack by connecting a microsd reader to the USB C port of this for my music. Obviously it didn’t work, but it says on the store page that it doesn’t work so what can you do? For its intended purpose (which I have been using it for since then), the audio quality is good enough for my usual outdoor headphones and the charging port works fine.

DAC works as advertised and sounds excellent.
The internal DAC works exactly as advertised. I was initially skeptical given its lower price when compared to other hi-fi audio equipment, but my M1 Pro MacBook was able to see the full 32-bit/384kHz audio option with AppleMusic Lossless playing through it.The DAC is a little more bass-heavy than the ones in my MacBook Pro and iPhone 15 using Apple’s USB-C adapter, but not at all muddy or lacking in clarity in the upper frequencies. The iPhone Music app would even play Dolby Atmos tracks through the DAC which added to the depth and clarity. It will be more than adequate for hooking into a car stereo and could even be a slightly better adapter for hooking up an iPhone to professional sound equipment.I did not test the power delivery side yet, but assuming that works this is an excellent product at a fantastic price.
